My problem is not with the pickup location but U-Haul overall. I had been told that I would get a furniture dolly but when I showed up was told none was available. Further, an employee said they are very scarce and that locations fight over who gets them. As a result, I had to hire professional movers, at a cost of aproximately $750, because it was now impossible for us to move everything ourselves. I would have been really screwed if I'd had to have my move completed that day as the pros were not available until Monday. This was totally unaceptable. Second, it seems that is is practice to not have the tanks filled at pickup? More on this when I comment on the drop off.
