The truck was late so we waited for 20 mins. When the truck arrived, no one wiped down the front can which I thought would have taken place due to the sensitivity of the pandemic. The back was never swept out so there was dust, dirt and leaves. We had to clean the cab and sweep the back before we could use it. Gross!
They are well trained and know there job. Parking could be increased but overall nothing could be done better. They have been my first choice for a u haul rental for quite a while and will continue to be so
Need to explain payment methods better. Put through a charge on my debit card for an estimated amount but did not explain that I would be sent a rebate in a few days for the actual amount
Third time renting at this location. This time had problems, because everything was emailed, and I was incorrectly advised I was charged a late fee, when I inquired what the total came to --- which was quite a bit higher than what I had estimated/anticipated. Then was given customer care/service number to call once I got home, which I did. Spoke with Sandra, who was very helpful in understanding the situation, and she saw that I did not return the van late, yet somehow the system marked me down as late. Further, I returned the van with the gas tank filled up again, and the needle to the over "F" position. Clerk at variety store/U-Haul asked me to take pictures, which I did, but I said I wasn't too tech savvy with my Blackberry, but was getting my phone out to show him all the number of pictures I had taken, but he apruptly said never mind, he'd go out to the van himself to check. Geeze Louise, why ask me to do one thing,and then turn around and do something else. Had he finished listening to me, I could have shown him the pictures on my phone. I'm not good at how to email them or anything like that, but he could have taken pictures of my pictures, I suppose. So, somehow I was charged for gas too, which didn't make sense when I returned the van just as I had received it. The receipt shows "under the "F" mark as where the gas level was returned to by me, when clearly my pictures would have shown it over. Sandra explained he marked an 1/8 lower and then said something about 1/16th -- didn't quite understand that, but inevitably she credited those charges as well, and based on my calculations for a credit, we came out to the same figure. This took me about 15 minutes on the phone to accomplish and get straightened around with Sandra. However, still not impressed with customer treatment by in-store clerk for U-Haul this time at all. Maybe this is sadly just a Covid thing, I don't know. I might think about going elsewhere next time, just saying'. You have to treat your customers better than that, especially when I needed answers to my questions. I shouldn't have to wait to go home to get my emails off my desktop computer. There should have been an actual store printout, and it should have been ran by me before it was put through on my credit card. So, in-store clerk gets a very poor review from me. Sondra at customer care/service in Burlington, gets a good review with plus marks.
still waiting for refund of $177.00 originally build which was to much. the final bill was 487.00.
When i got into the vehicle it smelt of cigarettes. There were so many x stickers all over it. Other than that it was ok. Everything else worked fine.
I think the pricing is confusing and a little expensive

The truck when picked up was absolutely filthy. Looked as if it had not been cleaned in MONTHS. It smelled of wet Dog and made us nauseated to drive and be in. Truck needs to be cleaned 100% Not satisfied. I have pictures of the Truck if needed.
I was told the van had a full gas tank and it did not. The person's English was limited. I did not get my receipt by email in a timely fashion. I believe I was overcharged. I would not rent from here again. It was also hard to exit the parking lot in a safe manner. I made a very poor choice of locations. Also I was asked to submit something online but was not given access to wifi and I don't have data on my phone. Not everyone lives by their phone.
Please tell your location dealer to talk nice and tell everything. He was rude and he did not give any information that is required to know. He want just one thing "Money". I will not recommend to anybody for this location.
There are no improvements necessary. They were friendly and fast to help me get on my way.
The guy from the store didn't want to go out and see damage on the truck before I drive it. He said â€œ I can't go outâ€ 5 min later is out with his friend talking his native language. Bad customer service. Rude people
The pickup location was very convenient. The interior was not cleaned when I picked it up but was ok for my needs. No problems with the truck. I will rent from Uhaul again.
The windows and mirrors could maybe be cleaned other then that all was good
The owner of this store completely ripped me off intentionally!! She advised me that she would return the truck in the morning when I returned it at 10:15pm and did not make me aware that she'd be charging me double. She did not make me aware that I could return it online at the time I dropped it off. She made it sound like she was doing me a favour by returning it the next day in her system when she was well aware that it was in her parking lot at 10:15pm the night before! I will never use uhaul again because of this experience and I highly recommend you remove her as a vendor because she is not making a good name for uhaul! I have submitted a dispute with uhaul and I fully expect a resolution and a refund of my over charged amounts !
I had a terrible experience with Uhaul. First the UHC Hamilton Region traffic office changed my order the day before my move without my knowledge or consent. When I went to confirm the new confirmation I was instantly hung up on while getting my order number so I had to call them back twice without an apology. The man I spoke to reassured that my mileage would be covered for the difference and inconvenience of having to change my pick up location but it was not the case. Second when we arrived at the pick up location my father and I had to wait 15 minutes for the women at the counter to serve us as she was on a personal call. After that was figured it, it took her an additional 15 minutes to figure out and confirm my order even though I went online the day before to review and confirm my order. On top of that I wasn't provided with enough moving blankets, even though again I ordered them ahead of time with my order. To end, when my father returned the van to the same location he was serviced by someone else who apparently treated him very poorly and gave him bad customer service. To conclude I would not recommend this location or Uhaul in general to â€˜friend' as a moving service.
Equipment is not cleaned properly, i cleaned my self, gas is not exactly full, i filled tank completely.
I had difficulty with the mobile pick up so I went into the store for assistance. The lady at Dundas Variety was incredibly helpful and everything went perfectly!
Truck was dirty, left used wet wipes in doors and on dash. Back had dirt along the sides. The internet was bad had to wait close to half an hour to get the truck. Wanted to charge me double the price for being 5 mins late. Wont be renting from this store next time.

The driving portion of the vehicle wasn't cleaned super great, there was empty food bags on the ground and other garbage. I've used this location before and it wasn't like that though so it's probably a one time thing.
The truck was dirty inside and steering wheel was very sticky. The back of the truck was full of sandy grit and smelled like a cat litter. It was honestly the dirtiest truck we have ever rented from uhaul. It served its purpose and thankfully our item was fully wrapped but I would not have wanted to put my furniture in that truck if it wasn't wrapped.
