No one working at the location. App would not load, camera on browser not working. Called lock solid storage-no answer. Called gal customer service- long wait times but they eventually helped me out. Spent over an hour and a half getting the U-Haul. I will go somewhere with humans working there next time.
Neal EThe truck itself was decent. It was an older gmc in good shape. The only thing I had issues with honestly was the app.
Adam PFacility was not open during regular business hours on a Friday. Was told at pick up location it was open. Doors locked no sign saying closed. No person available. Sign said someone would be out and to stay with vehicle. Had to walk up to building to scan sign for on line return. Why can’t that be at the lockbox where we were supposed to park? Seemed sketchy to leave blankets and dolly in an empty parking lot with a truck that does not have a locking back door. Instructions did not want those items locked in cab.
Natalie PI do not voluntarily use self service anything which is why I made my pick reservation for a check in counter in Slippery Rock. Unfortunately my pick up was changed to the Butler site. The app is difficult to navigate thus necessitating a call to the customer service number. The rep was very pleasant and helpful and was able to process the pick up quickly. My drop off location was also changed to a site I did not want to use. The rep was accommodating and changed the drop off to my originally scheduled location. The locked boxes are very difficult to use…the spinner dials were hard to move and the lock was very hard to pull to open.
