I was told that I would get my hundred dollar deposit back when I dropped the truck in San Antonio but I didn't they told me in San Antonio they would mail me a check If I gave you my cash I feel you should give me my cash back

For some reason my invoice said I drove over 200 miles. It also said I rented the truck for 1.5 days. Both of these were grossly incorrect. I rented a truck for 4 hours and drove maybe 62 miles. They rented the truck to someone else after me using my reservation.

I was given a vehicle with the abs and stability indicators on. I was assured that the vehicle was fine. It was not. The braking was hard and inconsistent. The office was closed by the time I arrived home. I asked why I wasn't given a vehicle that was serviceable without any maintenance problems. I was told they couldn't but the same 4 cargo vans were there when I returned my rental. No apology no nothing. I don't understand why I could not have any of the others when they knew it was defective. Bad business practice altogether. Terrible driving experience.

Would not suggest uhaul. They hide information from you and when something goes wrong they blame you for it and tell your that you're SOL.

Honestly, this location works very efficiently and fast. I especially want to thank Caidyn Rusk for his kindness. Me and my mom were needed a truck to move, but there was some confusion about pricing when I booked online, so when we turned in our truck he and Damarius Burns were very patient and kind. Caitlyn remember us and took money off of our final bill, due to the confusion during booking. This is an example all companies should take in regards to Customer service!

The uhaul online app sent me to this location even thou they didnt have what I ordered. Once there the guy behind the counter couldnt help me, required me to call and sit on hold with uhaul for 10-15 minutes. The person on the phone informed me the place I was at did indeed have a trailer exactly like the one I wanted except it had a ramp and the one I ordered did not. The service guy should have known this and offered me this option and I also should not have been charged the upgrade fee between the two trailers since Uhaul sent me to this location.

I had a 7:00 a.m. pickup when the store opens. The manager was late, unfriendly, and made me wait outside while she opened up the shop. Also, the truck was not ready. I had to wait while she gathered all of the pads and dolly. This should have been done the evening before, as they had plenty of notice that I would be picking it up. The truck appeared to be fine, but when I got to my house a few miles away, one of the rails fell off. Also, the pads were all full of dust, dirt, and debris (grass and leaves).

This UHaul had the worst customer service and I would absolutely NOT recommend ever using this location EVER. We scheduled a drop off in a different town and made a mistake in the online reservation. When at the location, requested it to be corrected. I was then lied to an said we were good to go when in fact they didn't change anything. Then when trying to discuss what options were available by phone, since we were already on the road when I realized what they had done. They refused to answer the phone to help navigate any options! Don't ever rent equipment from this location!!

Though I have always had a good experience with this company from the time I rented a storage unit commencing last September, I'm extremely disappointed with closing my storage unit acct with them. Pmt is automatically taken from my bank acct for rent on the 30th of each month. I was not able to get help with a truck from a family member to move my items until Sunday the 1st since they work. The storage building that I was moving my items to on my family's property was delivered there last Tuesday. When asked if I could receive a portion of the $189.50 pmt, especially since I'm on social security and finances are limited, they declined. Since my acct has been closed, they said they also retain the right to rent the unit out to someone else. How sad and unprofessional.

The only thing I would change is the fact that I ordered it and payed for it but because my friend was the primary driver, all the information was switched to hers. That made it a little difficult to find the order and receive information. Otherwise, everything was great.

The employee was extremely brief, used a monotone voice and clearly did not want to be at work. He completely ignored me when I entered and did not walk up to the counter until I yelled "hello." He skipped the part about using the online mobile check out even though I told him I had to return the vehicle after 5pm closing. There was a white woman who walked in and asked me if I had been helped and when I said no she told the employee to help me and he mumbled some excuse but then walked over and began helping me. After using the online checkout I didn't get a text or anything verifying that was the last step. I called the location today and asked if my checkout was final since I used the online checkout and the employee (I think it was the same rude guy) said I guess so if you didn't get any other text. I'm watching my card to make sure I wasn't charged $20 for the in person checkout.
