I don't recommend uhaul to anyone. Less than a month before i rented a 26 ft truck and it was a nightmare as well. I had the truck for 2 days and was called 24 hours before it was due and told to return the truck because they were overlooked and needed it. I had paid for movers for 3 hours and only used them less than an hour because the truck had to be back. I didn't get my money back for that eithrr. Stay away from uhaul!Margaret P.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD! Teach and require customer service reps to greet customers instead of starting out saying â€œare you here for somethingâ€. The first van had numerous issues and when asked to change to a van was treated like we were imposing on her.CHARLES H.
The General Manager made me switch the trailer ball out myself. She just told me where the service garage was and told me to change it. Turns out, since I'm not a professional, I didn't change the ball correctly. I was shocked by how little she cared. When I couldn't get the old ball off the ball mount, she even made me pay for a new ball instead of getting someone to help me.KYLE D.

Extremely unprofessional staff at this location. When I went to pick up my truck, the sales associate belched loudly with his mouth wide open. Didn't say excuse me or anything. Shortly after, a manager figure came in and asked "how last night went" and the employee reported they were "there until around 6:30 or 7:00, f***ing s*** up". All while I'm standing right there in front of them. How unprofessional can you be? UHaul will likely never receive my business again.JOSEPH P.
I don't know what you can do for the next customer but for me somehow you added 30 miles to what I drove when I figured that up myself. And only made 1 full trip and 1 half trip to move stuff. It was 22 miles from your location to my house and 48 miles round trip to my new home. I only made one ground trip and one down there and then straight to your store which only added up to 107miles. I was charged for 139 miles which I know I didn't drive. It stayed parked in driveway all other times. But I guess because I spoke my mind with the representative I was charged for 32 miles overJOSEPH T.

Original pickup date was on a Saturday. I called and changed reservation to Friday. It was at a different location, about 20 minutes further. When I went to pick up my rental, was told there was nothing available and U Haul should've called me. (They didn't). Finally found a location but they only had a 26'. I reserved a 10'. He was nice enough to only charge me 10' rental price, but I paid way more for fuel. This isn't the first issue I've had with U Haul, but will definitely be the last. The first truck I was put in smelled like marijuana, the visor was dangling, and then it wouldn't start because it was completely out of gas. They gave me keys to another truck without going near it to look at mileage or gas level. I stopped for gas on the way to drop it off when I was done to make sure it was at the level it was when I picked it up. They didn't go near the truck once again at drop off. Then charged me for 5 gallons of gas at final billing later that day. Very little communication and dishonest billing.SHANNON S.
I have had the worst possible treatment from people in your company as well as service. I have tried to get the issue resolved but I keep getting people that aren't helping and that are trying to blame me for what's happened when I clearly have proof that it was your employees fault on what happened and all. I have tried to create a complaint action form and had one the people call me and he did me the same way. He was being a jerk towards me and kept trying to turn it around on me for what all has happened and on how I was threatened when trying to make a payment over the phone to the woman named Lisa. I believe that's who called me. She didn't tell me that prepaid cards wasn't accepted so I used it and when it didn't go thru she blew up and was all mad even more. I told her that I could pay with my bank debit card instead and that it will forsure work. Well she wouldn't accept it and was being all hateful and mean and just plain unprofessional towards me. So she threatened that if I didn't bring the truck & car hauler down to her location in Hixson, TN that she is going to report it stolen then. I explained to her that I couldn't do that because All my stuff would just fall and break and move everywhere. I told her I had it 75% filled up. That it was not full enough yet and plus I had no way to put something there to hold everything in place to come with the truck! Not to forget that would cost me more because of gas and mileage too. It was just all un acceptable. I have no signal really where I was living at, so I didn't get any calls and I did call in a few times and also reserved it originally for 4 days online before coming. This all started all this because the employee at there location didn't do his job like he's suppose to. So on my paper he put 1 day! Now remember it was already reserved for 4 days online. I then told the guy before we moved forward on the paperwork that I need it extended to 8 days. We did the few little things he had to do and he even said that it was all good to go. So I was in a hurry because had work the next day and so did my fiancÃ© and we had other urgent matters to handle before they closed and all. So I figured I was good for a while. Well we then get out to the truck and it was filthy. It was pretty dirty, and so I don't have time to go back in and get him to give me a new one and redo the paperwork and so on. So I just told him well I honestly don't have time and I'll have to just get ahold of U-Haul main office and get them to resolve this issue and any others. I have all the proof and pictures and videos and even some the recordings of how I was treated over the phone. So then I go to leave, get in it and start it and the gas is as far down on â€œEâ€ meaning â€œEMPTYâ€ as you can get it to be !!! So had to hurry to a station closest by to put has in it. So back to where we was at. I need to speak with someone that can help me and make it right with me. Because this shouldn't of ever happened to us/me. I did what I was suppose to do from the beginning. There's a little more to it as well. So once I get someone to talk with that can help that would be great. Because this was just the worst service ever! Also they charged me the out of town rate which it should of been the in town rate because I reserved online for the Dayton, TN location to pick it up and drop it off as well. I haven't ever been treated like this. I want to speak with someone high up ASAP! Thank youChristopher G.
