They did not have the truck that I reserved so I told I wouldn't be charged for the dollies and I still was charged for them. I had to make more trips with a smaller truck and spent more money on mileage.

The whole experience of renting this truck was easy and without issue. I would recommend U-Haul if someone has a move and can provide their own people to assist in loading/unloading the truck. I would ABSOLUTELY use U-Haul in the future.

My comments are both personal and terms of rental related. First the owner/franchisee/whatever was about as engaged and concerned as a sullen 14 year old boy. Second upon returning equipment the office was locked in middle of day. Someone should be there during business hours. I dislike dropping keys without a physical inspection post-rental so no assertions can be made that I've damaged anything. The third point is the prominent advertising of renting a cargo van for “$19.95”. You really should plainly advertise the actual costs after highly-advisable collision insurance, roadside fee, MILEAGE FEE of nearly $1.00 per mile and fuel top-off cost required. As well as extra for dolly rental. My actual cost, after being double charged the roadside $5 fee, was over $100 for less than 8 hours. I also paid $7 for fuel at Exxon. No, I won't rent here again and probably not from U-Haul if I can find other rental less complicated and costly. The van stunk like smoke but was clean. The dashboard is not intelligently or clearly laid out and there was no phone charging adapter provided (cigar shaped plug-in) so I could not charge phone. Also the windshield wiper fluid receptacle was empty. 2 out of 10.

I ALWAYS use Pacos Paints & 2 Helpers for my rental truck needs. If you do your rental and check in online, you are in and out of the office in minutes with your truck. They have a “leave unwanted items in the truck” service that is priceless and probably the main reason for using this particular business. They make moving easy.

My suggestion is additional training for the proper operation of the truck function regarding ‘Low Drive'. Overall, ring an experienced driver I accomplished my goal with U-haul services.

Excellent and friendly service. Tire pressure warning message needs to be cleared, but I was made aware of it by staff when I got the truck. Other than that the truck was fine.

Last year I used another location on Baltimore Pike and it was the worst experience I ever had with the U-Haul company. This year, I decided to give it a chance. It was a really good experience. The staff was very nice and helpful.

System was down, corporate office was unattainable. No signs in front indicating Uhaul was at location/building.

There was never a person who picked up the phone when I called this location. The voicemail box was always full. When I checked in using the app the day I picked up the truck, the truck number given on the app did not match the truck number given on the key in the lock box. Then I could not get the steering wheel of the truck out of the locked position. There was no one at this location to help. I called and got the same “mailbox is full” so I called the UHaul 800 number and was on hold for about ten minutes when I finally hung up. (This location is in a business park, behind buildings, remote and I was alone. I felt somewhat unsafe.). I called the location number again and got through to a person at their painting business. I explained that I couldn't get the truck to start and I was having a difficult time getting the lock open on the back door of the truck to check to make sure the pads and hand trucks were there. They said no one would be at the location for another hour. I kept trying to get the steering wheel unlocked to get the truck to start and couldn't. I did manage to get the lock on the back door open after several tries. I called the location again, they said they would send someone. I finally asked a man walking across the parking lot to get the wheel unlocked and I was able to finally leave. The truck was filthy inside. When I went to return the truck, I used the link in the text message I got from UHaul to try and check in the truck. It took me to the order page but no where was there a link to check in the truck to show I returned it to avoid the $20 charge. I asked the man there at Paco Painting and was told he had no idea, he never used the app. I asked to be checked in manually and for a receipt so I could check the charges, and he seemed annoyed. It was overall, not a great experience and a bit scary at that location.
