All the Associates here were great! Several of their fleet had the catalytic converters stolen the night before. I went early trying to get my van before my reservation time and saw them deal with ridiculous customers upset about them not having trucks. They handled it with poise. And later when I came back, I saw them handle another sheisty customer trying to get over with poise. My only issue was the van. Shocks were terrible and steering extremely loose.William B.

The after hours check-in process needs improvement as we could not effectively get online to officially turn the truck in and avoid the $20 fee. There should be an alternative (such as a paper form) to accompany the key in the drop box. Customers that have turned their vehicles in on time (as according to the contractual agreement), should not be subject to late fees -- especially because of shoddy website/app development. There were two other customers returning vehicles at the same time, who also could not check their vehicles back in.RAYMOND MURRAY W.

Poor communication - my truck wasn't returned on time and no one told me. I drove 40 min to go get a truck that wasn't there and didn't know that until I arrived. Then the regional office found me a truck right near my house - I could have saved a total of 2+ hours by knowing this in advance. However, the Detroit office on Livernois was great - and the staff at the Farmington location was very helpful when I arrived.Christopher S.

More HELP on hand. Only one person was helping customers for the longest and she was new. The wait was too long. You had to have patience and I must admit the conversation was nice.TORIAM B.
Uhaul location stated it was no problem to extend contract if needed. When we needed to do that the next day, we were told we could not do that as someone was waiting on the truck and if we didn't return the vehicle within the hour, they would report the truck stolen!! We were literally on our way to drop off our first load with their largest truck packed to the brim and the option they gave us was to bring it back and get a smaller truck. After telling them that this made no sense, finally a manager stated we needed to get it to them ASAP. Paying for an extra day was no problem but they were not answering the phone. I then went on chat and was told I needed to pay for the extra day and they would notify the location that I was coming to pay. Once I got to the location, of course they had not clue what was going. Why tell customers it is perfectly fine to extend rentals when it really is not!!!AREZEIONNA SEAN- A.

They told me they didn't have any motorcycle trailers then when I got to the area that the trailers are in they had 3. I tried to exchange it for what I originally asked for and he refused and said it's to late. I strongly feel like he was forcing a $10 upgrade that I didn't want because the trailer he stuck me with didn't have a spot for my wheel and the other 3 did. I made a comment that if my motorcycle don't fit properly and falls I'm going to use the insurance and he blew it way out of context and almost didn't give me the trailer and acted like I was going to mess up the trailer on purpose or something. I have a clean driving record and I intend to keep it that way but if my bike falls from the front wheel turning during a bump or something yes I would have definitely expected the insurance to cover my bike due to the simple fact that he refused to give me a trailer that was designed for a motorcycle when he knew I was putting a motorcycle on it. Also the trailer he gave me had grass clippings, vines and trash in it, the picture was sent before I left. I'm very disappointed with this location on livernoise.Jason W.
