Very bad experience, I reserved one truck in another city, drove there and the truck was not there.(no communication/update) Had to drive another 45 miles to another city to pick up another one and they still charged me an extra $8 for the miles at the end. Still waiting for my "you're guarantee $50 if reserved truck isn't available" money. Poor communication. Wouldn't recommend. If there's any other company around my area I'd go to them. Also Lodi branch forced me to return the truck early because of the inconvenience they had with another customer. They called me asking me if I can return the truck sooner because an inconvenience of another customer. "Is there a chance you can return the truck earlier?" Mind you I paid $180 bucks for 24 hours. They wanted me to returned the truck within 17-18 hours.

U-Haul is horrible!!! You charge me an extra day because the store was not open when I returned the trailer?!?!? Plus, you allow me to book a trailer at a location only to call me within an hour to tell me that I have to drive out of town to get it!!! What kind of business is U-haul running?!?!? A bunch of amateurs!!!

MELLON MI am not sure why my original Uhaul pick up at los banos got canceled and redirected to here, nor was I given the option to choose the other los banos locations. When I was notified about the change of pickup location I was not told it would be a self service pick up so I ended up having to call the owner since they were closed, the owner let me know it was self service and not the Uhaul worker. Very inconvenient from Uhaul having to drive an additional 40 minutes just to pick up the truck. When I got in the truck there was no gas whatsoever so I had to refill the truck and did not get reimbursed.
miguel oThis was the worst experience ever. This is completely a u-hual problem. Nothing against rick’s smog. I reserved a truck at a specific location for a reason uhual changed my reservation to a different location in a whole other city the day before. And they made it an online pickup and I specifically requested a go inside and pickup. The mobile pickup doesn’t explain anything and when you do click on something it goes nowhere. So it ended up taking over an hour to figure it out. And don’t think you can just call and talk to someone they put you on hold for over ten minutes just to hang up on you because you’re out in the middle of nowhere next to the highway and you can’t hear them and no real person to help you. Also when they told the day before pickup I had to drive to a different city they told me I could drop it off in my city. THAT WAS A LIE!!!!
