I was sold a tv box for about $30 that was supposed to have protective foam inside. There wasn't any. I expected, as my reservation indicated, to pick up the truck & trailer in Rutland & felt baited & switched. I know there's the disclaimer but if a location doesn't keep inventory then the reservation should not be made there. Not even an ok experience.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisWe returned the truck just prior to opening hours. Your contract said to call an 888 number when we arrived, which we did. U Haul rep said they could not accept the truck over the phone we had to use your App, which I had to download under poor cell service conditions. Could not create an account -- various attempts and getting maybe six codes didn't work. As we were giving up, drop off business owner showed up, we handed him the key and he said he would contact you to accept our return. Later, before he had a chance to contact, you we got emails and texts from you asking if we needed more time, how come the truck wasn't returned, etc. We explained the situation. U Haul corporate needs to improve their App account creation and even demanding that it is the only way to interact with you, stop providing instructions to call 888 numbers which result in nothing because your staff say they cannot help, and permit return of a vehicle by phone with subsequent verification of condition, etc. We request that there be a discount available for Military, AAA, AARP, AMAC members on a one way rental. Renting business said U Haul offers no discounts. Overall everything worked out. The vehicle had very low mileage and ran fine. Mission accomplished.

Chris PMake sure what is a guaranteed reservation is actually there or let me know beforehand. Had to call to find out and put on hold for 20 minutes. Then i had to get a bigger truck and pay more! And checking in and out on line is a pain Where is the customer service.
