It took a long time to get my rental although I had come in previously and filled out a reservation. There were not enough people working the counter. The process to return the equipment was fast and easy. The rental rate is also misleading as the per mile charge is high.RICHARD W.
Had great equipment selection and friendly customer service. I had a good experience overall, nothing to complain about. When the service desk chose the truck for me, they gave me a truck that was stuck behind other trucks... I'm sure this happens from time to time with so many other trucks; and they were more than happy to come repark everything. But it did cut into my rental time and my schedule by a few minutes.ZACHARIAH H.

Be nice if it were open later, but we have gotten the return system to work every time but one out of three. The website would not work for the return and cost us $20. It was on the 8th truck we rented from UHaul so we know how to do it. Grrr. Five trucks from Bastrop, TX and three in Fort Worth.MARY B.
An employee explained to a customer that he couldn't walk in the office without a mask. That employee was not wearing a mask... You can't expect people to wear a mask when the employees are not wearing one.TRAVIS B.
As we were new to the area it was a bit difficult to find. But once there, everyone was great. The guy who helped us was THE best. It was some of the best service, specially after driving for several days. We were in and out in no time.Celso P.
U-Haul should make the meaningful assurance requirement more clearly known prior to pick up at the store location. I reserved my truck a week in advance of my pick up and this requirement was only made CLEAR at the counter at the time of pick up. Coldly telling me I need to give a number of a friend or loved one RIGHT NOW and have a stranger RUDELY cold call them without warning is not good customer service. If I didn't need the truck to pick something up I would have left the store. And then to have to keep going down my contact list because there wasn't an answer by my contact...RIDICULOUS! And in front of other customers....handing out personal info?!? If I had warning it wouldn't have been as bad. I could have asked permission and scheduled the calls. At the very least, I would have been prepared to be TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL when I arrived to pick up my rental. The experience was infuriating. U-haul needs to get with the times. People don't answer their phones anymore unless they know who is calling. This is the last time I use your services. You SUCK!DANIEL C.

After using 24/7 check in I will never use it again if possible. After checking in I was surprised with having to give a backup number for them to call and confirm what I don't know. Then, they electronically told me that I needed to check in at the facility. I ended up having to create an entirely new reservation. Lost an hour of a long day. I also had to upload driver's licenses after having done that during the pre-check-in process. During the frustrating time of creating a new reservation my agent was also the mask manager and delayed my frustration further. I finally asked her to focus, let someone else monitor masks and get me out of there. Otherwise, the truck was clean and easy to operate.teresa N.
Everything was great. I dealt with the total people people- The initial counter agent, possibly site manager... very helpful and accommodating. This lot attendant on pick - friendly and helpful. Upon return, it was very busy, and the attendant took time and personalized the experience.WADE R.

4-10-21 at 10:17 pm I have a text from my son James Bowie on my phone when he gave up trying to check in the truck return on your app. It would not work. I also have the number UHaul sent during the process to confirm it was my order. We were charged $20 even through the truck was returned and even though the app did not work. This was the 6th truck we had rented & returned so he knew how to do it. When we rented the 7th truck 4-17-21 the guy's attitude was like â€œSo what?â€ We need to rent 3 more trucks & I think we will do business with someone else. When I called UHaul to protest somebody said you were open 24-hours & we should have called that night. So, no one is concerned over losing business over $20 but me. Up to now UHaul has been wonderful.JAMES B.
