When we picked up the truck, the female employee was NOT very personable. Our truck was buried behind another truck AND they couldn't find the key, so we were delayed. Also, there was a empty Hostess donut wrapper and crumbs in the glove box. However, when we returned the truck, the saving grace was the general manager (Don?) who was working ALONE but was kind and helpful. You need more employees like him!Sonja I.

For one have a more professional staff. The staff member at the desk had black shades on. He was a little passive-aggressive. Ayvtime of return I was told to leave the truck with the keys in there and they would send me a email in 3 minutes. I didn't get the close out email to the next day at 9:30 a.m.. I had the pleasure to work with the staff at U-Haul in Gardena, CA. The staff were very helpful and friendly and found me what I needed for my rental. I enjoyed working with them. Uhaul is the absolute worst company to use for moving. I left an item in the vehicle and went back 3 hours later to get and the truck was already rented out and supposedly â€œinspectedâ€. I can't imagine finding a weapon or drugs or alcohol in a vehicle I've rented from them because of a botched inspection. I will never use uphill again. I will never recommend any of my friends or family use them. I will do everything in my power to leave negative reviews on every single platform I can think of. This situation is being handled so poorly it's unbelievable. The customer service of uhaul is in shambles and should be revamped throughout. I don't know how uhaul is still in business at this point.BRANDON B.

I booked online and half way through the process I ran into problems where there was no way to finish the process. I went inside and was told they couldn't help me and to call the 800 number. After 15 min on hold the woman behind the counter offered to help me as I was getting frustrated. She had to get me a different truck because she couldn't continue the existing reservation. I then got a text to review the condition of the truck and when I tried to upload a new picture it said it was attached. I lead a web development team for a living and know how to use a simple mobile app. Every part of this process broke down. I can not fully express how bad every single part of the process was. Once I checked the truck in I was going to be charged $35 for about $12 worth of fuel even though the contract said gas would be $5 a gallon. Will never rent another U-haul.Christopher J.
