This was not my chosen pickup location. U-Haul changed it without notifying me. Then the location rep did not call 24 hours in advance like they were supposed to, adding a ton of time onto my trying to resolve, then pick up my rental. The location also have listed their hours wrong, stating they were open from 8am-3pm. However, they were closed when I arrived at 10am, and their door said they are not open on weekends. Which resulted in more time contacting U-Haul to get information on how to get my rental. They also did not include the moving pads I requested and paid for in my truck.
DANIEL WShop was supposed to be open but only one guy was there and lights off, he was sleeping on the couch and I had to wake home up. He couldn’t check us out and said “just take the trailer”. We then called scheduling and checked out the trailer on the phone. Two days later I received text saying my trailer reservation was cancelled. But I had the trailer! So called again and got it cleared up. But not an ideal situation.
