I always use Ace now for my rentals, the location works perfectly & this is not towards them but the truck I drove breaks were terrible I did make them aware of this.

Be honest with a. Haul rental and don't steal from a elderly poor person. It was not taken out of Berkley county here in s c . was told by employee that rented me the truck. that I get 100 miles I put 90 miles on truck and was charger $ 67.00. For miles that was stealing when I was told I get the first 100 miles . for the rental truck.

I realized the truck was too small so I reached out to exchange the truck but the majority of the locations closed at the same time. One location was opened until 7 pm but no one ever answered my phone call so I wasn't able to bring my full load to Charlotte. I now have to make another trip to Charleston, SC.

The 26ft truck I rented ran awful. It is in SEVERE NEED OF A TUNE UP AND FRONT END ALIGNMENT. I felt like it was going to break down on me in traffic. Staff was very pleasant. I would rent again just not THAT TRUCK.

Don't advertise smart phone pickup without the store check in. It does not exist here I lost several hours of time waiting for the store to open before I got my rental. I may as well walked in off the street and rented. Good thing the location wasn't closed on Sunday I would have lost my entire day and a lot of money. The store knows online check in doesn't work, they told me it happens often.

Right rear tire was down 50 pounds. Vehicle was dirty inside and out. When I went to turn it in the man blew me off telling me I'd get an email. Didn't seem interested in what I had to say about it. It also kept saying it needed an oil change every time I started it. Checked the oil but it seemed fresh. Again, the man didn't seem interested, didn't check the mileage or inspect the vehicle. Just said I'd get an email about the final charges. Had it set up for 1000 miles and I was under that but they didn't verify anything. I sanitized the inside and cleaned all the windows myself.

my account was flagged on a "E Alert" stating that the last rental that i had was turned in late. when I rented that truck, I told them that I would be needing the truck for more than 3 days, and they said "no problem". So, when renting this truck you waisted 1 hour of my time with this E Alert, and I had 3 workers waiting around for an hour, so that's a total of 4 man hours which works out to $400 of company costs. I will be renting 3 more trucks in the next 2 months and I will be using another rental chain.

Van smell of a smoker being in there smoking. Ended up putting air freshener in there while had it. Could also see ashes all over cab. Cleanliness of vans, especially during Covid, needs to be a priority.

Agent didnt know or care less if booked equipment was available or not in vehicle. Can dirty. When returning and using app started return procedure and app froze up at photo milage and gas stage, and couldnt get to complete process. So the agent told me to return tank half to 9/16 full, which I returned 9/16 full and got charged EZ fuel surcharge as they had put incorectly half full ! Really, scamming everyone who returns the hire vehicle with a surcharge, U Haul must be making a furtune with this practice..I wont be using this location again..
