Needs Better customer service. The lady at the rental pick up location sound like she didn't want to work or deal with people at all. Not professional at all made me feel uncomfortable! Only reason I actually stayed was because I really needed to move.

staff was not helpful with on-line process. Referred me to sign on door To figure it out. The initial reservation was painful and I was Concerned the truck would not be ready. Employee did not understand and had to call unable. Also gave me mid-information about tolls. Truck had not been cleaned and has dings and scratches all over it. Air conditioning did not work.
Better system for pre-registration and optimize the app. Location and rental were fine, but the app and process to get the information I needed were terrible. The app kept closing and I was asked to add my information four times. The location I got it from was closed so I was relying on the app to be efficient. The process took way longer than it needed to.
Business provided a trailer for interstate travel limited to 45 MPH per the sticker on the trailer, didn't tell me this, and this limitation was not stated in the rental agreement. Then when I called them to inform them of this they told me they were not aware of the speed limitation and they recommended I ignore it. Still awaiting refund.
Staff was very helpful. Limited truck/equipment supply so potential issue in a situation like ours where UHAUL had double booked us and had no alternate vehicles nearby. Major issues/complaints with the UHAUL app and UHAUL customer service as no one answered the phone. Will not use uhaul again but this location was fine and shouldn't be blamed for UHAUL's failings.

There were large puddles of water in both corners of the truck and someone left an uncovered green Marlowe in truck that was in water causing green marker to be all over the truck bed floor, ruining 4 towels to clean up so my stuff wouldn't get stained. As well as rocks and debris not swept out.

The only complaint I have is On the U-haul website the store hours were listed as opening @ 9:00am the store does not actually open until 9:30am.....therefore I had to sit there and wait until employees arrived @ 9:30am
The lady at Safe And Sound in Groton CT 06340 was snarky, whispered under her breath. She didn't tell me that my equipment I ordered (Furniture Dolly and Dolly) so I went to my apartment and nothing. Having to drive back and get the equipment I ordered. I was then confused as to why I couldn't drop the truck off at another location. Absolutely no one asked me about a in town truck. So I had to drive back thinking I was able to drop the truck off at another u haul near me. Which meant I went over my estimated miles my a landfill. I wish it went better.
The location was fine. The attendant was knew and still learning. The UHaul App (ta least on an Android phone) is unusable. It does not fit on the screen, is hard to navigate, and is very slow to respond with no indication that input has been accepted..I wasted 15 - 20 minutes trying to use it and then gave up and went to the counter. I refused to use it when I returned.

Had trouble opening the lock. Manager had to be called. Seat was too low and instructions did not show how to raise it. Had to go back the next morning before leaving on trip to get seat raised as I couldn't see over the wheel. The check in and check out processes were very time consuming and annoying. Also when I was having trouble opening the lock, I couldn't go back to the truck # I had been assigned. It was lucky I remembered it 15 minutes after I started having trouble opening the lock. All the photographs I had to take were a nuisance, especially when returning the truck as it's hard to take a picture of the speedo and the fuel gauge through the steering wheel and with the afternoon sun causing glare. II had already locked the truck and almost returned the key so that I could not have taken the pictures. Altogether, you ought to warn people the check in and check out processes are burdensome. Also seat instructions should be in manual.
The self check in process was very confusing. It needs to be more clear when you will receive keys for you vehicle. The lock box that had my keys was very difficult to open.
I was refunded the 10 dollars for the dolly I asked for and didn't get. Which threw a wrench in my moving. The trucks odometer was 10 miles under so thankfully I didn't get a speeding ticket. The location is great. Right off the highway
I expected furniture pads when I ordered them. I got none. I swept the leaves and pencils out that you don't see when you first get the vehicle from the back compartment. I also got the water out of the back. Since I didn't have furniture pads, my bookshelf was damaged and uhaul claimed they will have someone contact me. Uhaul didn't contact me and didn't bother to try to take anything off for their lack of service that caused damage to my furniture. They did remove the charges for the pads but no one contacted me. I get that the Coronavirus has everyone overwhelmed. I expect appropriate customer service and didn't even get an email to speak to a person about this. I'm all set here and not ok with billing before speaking to me. I should have the charges removed because you folks couldn't speak to me before billing and insure I was remotely ok with the amount you were going to charge with the lack of service you provided me. You seem entitled and arrogant not to bother attempting to provide any customer service. How dare you! Don't bother reaching out now because I don't want to hear anything further. I'll cover the bookshelf so I don't have to see the marks. I'm pissed because you couldn't even bother to check the truck before you tell me you are ready and then couldn't provide a number to reach someone local when something was wrong. Was it so hard to insure a clean set of furniture covers was there? I don't believe so. Now take your truck in and get the tuneup I said the truck needed because it wavers back and forth some on idle which is should not do. Also, you should replace your windshield wipers. This location has a bad attitude. Why, I don't know. The only reason you didn't get a poor review was the truck worked well overall. Fix your bad customer service.
