they called me the day after I dropped off the vehicle to find out when I planned to return it. When I dropped it off the girl behind the counter just told me to leave the key and it would be logged in. This caused me some concern, but it all came out ok.

it’s just poor service all together, they dont have my truck, they were sending me to oakland, no apologies, truck runs horrible, took 40 mins just to return and he didn’t even say we didn’t have to wait for a receipt. Should’ve listen to her friends who had horrible experience as well.

The waits for pick up and return are too long in my opinion. The employees are friendly and courteous, but they need to step up the tempo. People are trying to get on their way because moving takes a long time and when you get back, you are tired and just want to get out of there so to wait 20 minutes to return the truck is way too long.

Get your online reservations and location reservations in sync. Had an online reservation to pick up a 20' truck at an Oakland facility and a couple of hours after the reservation was confirmed I received a call that the location and truck size was not available.

Trailer couldn’t be removed from my hitch over night. Then. I dropped off my trailer next morning and U-Haul called me for two days asking when I was going to return my trailer. Horrible management. Should have offered me a free rental for my trouble. No one ever even apologized. That starts with upper management

The Uhaul truck was not maintained or clean. The following items were in need of repair drivers door was real hard closing (sometimes it would not close all the way and latch), main loading rollup door rubber seal was badly torn, the main loading rollup door stuck in the up location. The front right tire was really low on air and I had to drive back to the office to get it filled up. The office personnel were not friendly or supportive when I had the low air pressure problem. I have rented many times from Uhaul and this was the worst experience I have had. Bad people interface and bad equipment.

Do try to charge a customer for two days when we only had it for 24 hours and explain the reasoning to be that we had a estimated time before the 24 hours and did not make it even though we still made it before the 24 hours just not the estimated time.

Terrible service. When I got there one person was sleeping at the counter and other was on their phone. As well as this was given a caravan that has a broken indicator light and check engine and oil light on told the person about the issue and was told I wasn’t getting a different caravan. After all this when I went to return it I get a call two days later asking if I was going to return the van even though I returned it. Asked to speak to a manager and got no response at the location and on the phone. Worst experience I have ever had

The Customer Service was terrible. I went in before two days before I was to pick my truck up. Thank God I did they had me booked for the wrong truck. It was a older guy assisting me he had a terrible attitude, he didn't even want to get up and walk outside with me to see the truck. On Sat July 6, 2019 I went to pickup the truck it was so dirty it had cob webs on it. The inside n outside was filthy. They didn't even offer to clean it. It was two younger guys working on that day. The guy that assisted me was rubbing his eyes and hearing right in my face. When we seen how dirty the truck was. It was the other young guy out there pulling someone else's truck around. I went and ask him why was the truck they gave me so dirty. He apologized and said he would put in my notes when I come back how dirty the truck was and he would compensate me something. I thanked him and left. When we came back both guys were gone. It was three young ladies there watch was very loud and rude and one of them even walked passed me cursing. Very unprofessional. The young lady that was assisting me I was explaining to her about the truck and she started talking loud to me and telling me they wasn't going to compensate me nothing. I told her what exactly what that young man told me earlier. She then called him on the phone and he lied and told her he didn't say that, but the truck was dirty. As me and this young women was walking out to the truck she kept yelling, she was not going to compensate me nothing. Then she proceeded to tell me to get out of her face and I told her I wasn't in her face and to don't speak to me in that manner because I'm old enough for her GRANDMOTHER, I then told her I have a daughter older then her at that point my daughter heard her talking to me in such a disrespectful tone she came over there and asked her what was her problem and what's the problem then she toned all the way down and wanted to apologise. I've been going to this same U-HAUL since 1994 and I never seen so many unprofessional people like this Crew. They are awful and I wouldn't recommend a DOG to go to this U-HAUL. There Customer Service is terrible. The trucks are Filthy, Whom ever hired them should be a shame of themselves. To improve the Service there you should consider getting rid of all of them. Are let me come and train them and show them how to treat their Customer's. You guys should be a shame of yourselves for hiring them. There horrible

I reserved the trailer 10 days in advance at the uhaul in my home town. 1 day before the pick up day I received a text telling me I have to pick up the trailer in a town 45 minutes away. No one mentioned this is common uhaul practice when I made the reservation.

I had the worst customer service with Uhaul and will not only never use your company again I plan to share on all social media platforms how bad the service was and why others should not use Uhaul. Starting with my family and friends I'll deter as much business from Uhaul as possible. If you treat your customers poorly they will not return.

I was actually rescheduled to here after my reservation was unable to be fulfilled at the original location. The first location was absolutely abysmal, while Hayward was just barely ok. I would not choose to return to either.

I was never called and I showed up to find out they dont have my truck. Ended up paying more in mileage and gas got a big truck that I then fell out of loading and suffered injuries, including fracturing my toe, that would not have happened if I had the truck I ordered. There is a $50 reservation guarantee for a reason and you would think that would get these employees to plan better and actually inform customers IN ADVANCE if they do not have their vehicle. They had a truck there but for some reason I wasnt allowed to take it. I am expecting that reservation reimbursement
