Daniel CThe location was great Kilgore Muffler great. The overall Uhaul experience, terrible. We rented very early to ensure that we would have a truck near the location where we needed it to be. The day before we find out the truck is NOT at the location we requested. A side note - why on earth would you allow me to go to the trouble of renting for a specific location and then you not have the truck there. This is BEYOND dumb. Not to mention it wasted hours of my precious time having to drive so far away to get a truck that I rented. Again - Kilgore Muffler was great. Uhaul - really a fail. It may be the last time I ever consider using your company.
John PThe Truck had not been cleaned out after the previous rental. There was glass in the cargo area, Curtis was quick to fix that issue (Thanks Curtis). The drivers side headlight was inoperable now I will take some of the blame on that as I didn't check it before I left. I did however make Curtis aware of it upon my return. The check engine light was on when I first picked up the truck but later it had turned itself off and did not come back on again during my rental. I ordered an appliance dolly that wasn't available. Curtis stated that he has asked the District Supervisor to get some for this location and they haven't gotten them. U-HAUL this one is on YA'LL when a customer orders something only to get to pick up and realize it's not available , this makes a move just that much harder. Overall I was happy with my rental and would rent from this location again if & when the need comes up.
John EBeware, the truck I picked up was filthy. Garbage in cab and the back of the truck was very dirty. The location I dropped the truck off at charged me a cleaning fee. I sent them pictures of the dirt that was in the back of the truck. Hopefully I get reimbursed!
