Staff was extremely patient, knowledgable and very friendly. We didn't start off our Monday very well, but she certainily helped turn it around.
JAY PThe only thing that I would say to improve on is I understand that we have to use a credit card to hold the truck to use it. But when we get done if we want to pay cash we should be able to. The lady at the Ladysmith store told me that you guys at U-Haul make it really difficult for them to let the customer pay cash. They'd rather use the credit card. That's the only thing that I think you guys could change. Make it easy and simple. If a person wants to pay cash not everybody wants to put that on their credit card because they charge so much interest. But we understand we have to use the credit card to get the truck. But if we're able to pay cash at the end let us pay cash. That's it! Thank you!
THOMAS TTruck was not ready. Had to drive it out of bushes and tree branches when I picked it up. Had to drive 3.5 hours to pickup equipment a day before moving. Truck had lights that were out. Did not receive blankets or dolly that I paid for. Did not get trailer assistance that I paid for. Spent over an hour trying to assist the rep helping me with pickup because she didn’t understand the U-Haul system. Was led to the wrong truck. The person helping me knew nothing about U-Haul and almost had to call U-Haul support for assistance. Overall was the worst service I’ve ever received in my life. Would never recommend this to anyone. Ended up rescheduling my move date to make up for the 8 hours of time lost for just picking up the equipment.
