Joseph HWhen we returned the truck, the employee at the location did not have our return in her system. She ended up contacting “traffic”. After explaining that we had all of the documentation that we were in fact scheduled to return the truck to that location, the person she was speaking to, in a nutshell, tried to make it our problem that UHaul had messed up our return. She stated that we would be charged over $500 for dropping the truck off at the wrong location. I explained to her (via speaker phone with the employee at the drop off location), that they needed to correct the problem. We left the facility after I told her to correct the problem and to contact me if there were any issues. Instead, I received an emailed receipt with the additional charge of over $500. That charge was already pending on my credit card. Therefore, I then called UHaul’s main number and spoke with a customer service representative who was very nice and corrected the issue in about five minutes. This ordeal, caused by UHaul, took another hour plus of our time and created a lot of unnecessary stress in an already stressful time - moving!

Michael SI drove up to the drop off location and my husband went to the office and the door was locked. He peeked in and saw a lady in there on the phone. She finally came and open the door. My husband asked if she wanted us to put the truck on inside of the gate. She rudely said to just leave the truck there. He also asked if she wanted to check the truck and the gas gage and loudly told him that’s fine! Just leave the truck there! So we left. She called me back and said that the truck passed inspection and everything was cleared. She also wanted to apologize for speaking so rudely to my husband.
