The representative who waited on us was incredibly rude and abrasive. If we had not needed the truck so badly I would have left. The use of technology in the rental process was really extremely frustrating for those who are not comfortable with it. The rep said there was no other way to handle the rental process other than by us using our phones to do everything. I felt she had to be untruthful or misinformed as some people don't have smart phones. However she insisted that we MUST use the phones for the rental and assured us that is the Uhaul policy. Basically we felt we rented ourselves the truck and she did nothing except be rude to us and another gentleman waiting for a rental. Very very bad experience!DAVIDANDREW W.

Well it appears they don't actually look at the comments left on the completion receipt. I was charged for a utility dolly that I never received and for it being "missing" even though I said I never had it in the first place. So I was charged an extra $34 for nothing because apparently someone didn't do their job.Judyth K.

The employee was rude and hard to get the attention of. I explained that I ordered a 10' truck and she stated that that wasn't available and I only could have a 20' truck. She would interrupt me and not give me reasons for this change. When I paid she didn't give any direction of where the truck was or what the next steps were. This was not our rental location. We reserved/paid in advance online and the Timberlake store could not find the keys to the truck. They couldn't give us another truck and they physically sent us to other locations that also did not have trucks. It took several hours and much hassle to get what I had reserved. All they had to do was hand me keys. How is it possible that the keys were lost and nobody bothered to call me or try to find them before I arrived???RICHARDENOCH G.

The van was not clean on the inside passenger area and the lady who rented us the van was EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful. She acted like it was a problem that she was having to speak to us and to the customer in front of us, about any details we wanted on renting the van. Timerlake Road people are WAY more professional and nice to deal with, but this location was closer for us. I will probably not rent from them again.DAVIDWAYNE M.

I placed a reservation for a 15' one way, then about 5 days before reservation I was told I would now be getting a 20' truck. I called day before pick up to make sure there were no issues with the gas shortage going on in which the person at the call center snickered at me about the gas shortage and made the comment that my truck was full of gas and ready to go. She said if there was a problem someone would have already contacted me. I arrive to pick up location to find out I was now getting a 26' truck and it only had a half tank of gas. I was told that the 20' didn't make it back due to gas shortage. The customer service representative at the pick up location was helpful and did discount some off the bill. The location and representative at the location is not my issue, my issue was the overall experience with Uhual. I made a reservation for a 15' at one location and then pick up location changed and the size of my truck changed twice. I only needed it for a 10x10 storage unit.Heather S.
I wish I would've gotten her name, she was amazing and it was a last minute rental, she was great with us trying to rent a uhaul for the first time. The truck we received though had a serious gas leak that we were not told about, so we wasted a bunch of money in gas, the steering in the truck was also shot and it should not be on the road. My issue is not the location specifically, but Uhaul in general. The location operator did not receive my entire order online. I requested a truck, an appliance dolly, and a furniture cart. Both addon items were missing on their list, even though it was paid for an on my receipt. Secondly, the gasoline system is a scam set up on purpose to get more free fuel for the company. Here is how it works. I received the truck with just less than half a tank of fuel. When I was refilling the tank, I watched the gas tank gauge closely. It climbed to the exact point I received it at. I still had a little distance to go, so I wanted to get the needle above half full. The needle stayed exactly where it was below half... and then it pegged full. It is rigged to do exactly that. I certainly felt rooked.It's already expensive to rent a moving truck without taking advantage of the customer.Michael Y.

I was told the vehicle had a quarter tank of gas. It did not. It had an eight of a tank. I marked it up to the lower education standards where most younger people just don't know fractions or how to add and subtract without using an electronic device.Jonathan B.
