I was told to rent a trailer in addition to the 20' truck I'd already picked up earlier that day. The staff at the Atlas Ct. location did not seem to be able to explain the differences in the size of equipment or the insurance coverages offered. I was simply asked multiple times what size trailer and how much insurance based on the cost of the insurance, not the coverage it would provide. I asked how each option compared to the insurance I had already purchased for the truck rental and the rep was not able to explain it.JOYCE B.

According to the movers I hired through your ancillary "Moving Help" service, the 20' truck I rented was not sufficient large to move the contents of my 2-Bedroom apartment. Upon dropping off the equipment, I double-checked the recommended sizes and found that the 20' truck is recommended for a 2-BR home or 3BR apartment, so I remain puzzled - I don't have that much stuff. Further, it was terribly confusing when the movers told me to return two bundles of blankets and the hand truck because they couldn't fit them on the truck - the locations in Madison could not make a note of it in the computer system, so were not able to credit my invoice for rental equipment I did not use or take with me. Further, I'm concerned I will be charged for the equipment itself.Joyce B.

I picked up the trailer I rented at 8 am and dropped it back off at 10:30am I went in and told them that I was here to drop off the trailer and the guy said ok I'll finish up the paper work I leave and go on about my day at 5:10 pm I'm getting a phone call asking if I'm dropping the trailer back off today I said I already dropped it back off at 10:30 this morning the guy on the phone said I didn't know you dropped it off I said I spoke with the guy who cashed me out and told him. When we came after hours to return the truck, we could not pull into the return canopy because the lane and canopy leading up to it were parked completely full of other trucks and trailers. Thankfully we had an online account and were able to return it using that link.Dawn K.
You were very professional, very clean and efficient. The van was new and clean. I had just rented a big truck for 5/1 That was also very impressive, but had been told I could pick up at 1:30 and when I got there I was told I couldn't get it until 4:00 that man was pretty rude. It was likeâ€that's the way it is â€”do u still want itâ€ of all the times I rented that's the first time anyone was rude. I'm sure he was stressed since it was so very busy. Feel like customer service guy was great! Very easy going and professional give him a 10... Give this location a 10 but have issues with main co u-haul... 1) Process easy online with return but a little rediculous to charge $20 because uhaul doesn't want to pay employees and wants tech... 2) The $80 seemed a bit lofty for what I did so I'll consider trying a cheaper option like home depot next... The person that checked us in did not get us what we asked for. He said they had that trailer on stock and then did the paper work and then brought a different trailer. We needed an in closed trailer and he brought out a open trailer. This same guy checked us in with a different trailer a week ago and did not explain anything about the truck.Carol J.

The problem was that I had reserved a 15 foot truck three weeks ago and when I arrived on Thursday to pick it up, I was told I had to go to another location to get it. When I got to that location, only 5 minutes later than I was scheduled to pick up the vehicle, there was no one there. So I drove back to the Atlas Court location and told them I needed a vehicle. They gave me a10 foot truck which meant that I had to make an extra trip to move all my sister's stuff. I thought I would have a truck with a ramp and the extra space I needed but didn't . I have used U haul for years so I know their trucks. I knew that the 15 footer would meet my needs. Why does someone reserve a truck weeks in advance if they don't have it when they arrive to pick it up?robert G.

The parking lot is quite a mess. The lines drawn for parking stalls are very hard to see including the arrows to indicate flow of traffic. Customers are parked haphazardly and exiting/entering the lot is confusing.Naiya P.
I had a reservation made to pick a 20' truck at a different location two weeks prior to my move. ..I initially had reserved a 15' truck but then called the next day to reserve the 20'for 9:00 a.m......I went to check on it the day before my move ..to see if things were still on hold...well...it wasn't...I was bumped to 2:15 in the afternoon.....and was told some gal by the name of Michelle changed the time.....I was not notified of this change.....so that literally upset me....and told them they best get me a truck for 9:00a.m. so fortunately they found me one...service needs to be followed through with when changes are made...and mine was an in town move....so....im going to be giving second thought to your company.....I have used you in the past.....and have never had such treatment......Yvonne S.
The tail light was missing from the tow dolly. They tried to fix it with tape and a couple pop screws but it popped out after a short time. My friend noticed it, the people there did not. They also had a difficult time getting the tow dolly hooked up and it took five tries to get the car in place. They were friendly people but it was still a long frustrating situation.Sara W.

I have no complaint with this location. My complaints are with the U-haul website. I think it misleads you into believing there are more pickup and return sites than there really are. I was also upset that my original pickup location was changed to a location twice as far away. They told me after they changed the pickup that the guarantee was for the truck only, not the pick-up location. I was mislead on that, too.Meredith M.
