I don't know how much of my issue was with this location and how much was a result of Uhaul corporation and their HORRIBLE website. I made my reservation online for a completely different location, received email confirmation to pickup at that location, only to find out the location DOESN"T EVEN EXIST ANYMORE!! I only found this out because I called to verify the details of my reservation after noticing conflicting info on the email confirmation and Uhaul website (the email confirmation had me dropping off at a different location in different state somehow, while the website showed the "correct" requested pick up and drop off location). When I called the phone # provided I learned that the location I requested no longer exists and that A Plus Storage Depot is the replacement. I tried to call A Plus Storage Depot at least 6x over the next 3 days to confirm, but no one EVER picks up the phone. I left voicemails and no one returned my call. I finally drove over there to speak in person and, despite it being within the normal operating hours listed, no one was even there. They put up a sign saying to call the same phone # I had been calling for days. Only after leaving a very angry message did I finally get a call back. When I finally got to my reservation day everything was fine. The truck was fine. Someone was there to hand me keys. But overall this entire experience was so confusing, unprofessional, and frustrating. It is also frustrating that the quote given online doesn't take into account the per mile charge so the total the day of my reservation was more than double what I was expecting...leaving me with no option but to pay it at that point. I will not use Uhaul again after this experience.

Carey MI rented my U-Haul and drove about 35 miles a quick trip dropping off a toolbox. I picked the U-Haul up and the mileage and the gas were off from what was on the dashboard the mileage was at 139675 on paper but on the dash it was at 139679. Already a little concerning because I was initially charged a hold on my credit card for 40 miles. The gas also was off but the clerk told me bring the truck back to what it is on the dash and I should get no extra charges when I got my final receipt I was charged for 35 miles the mileage on dash read 139711. But I was charged almost 25$ for gas and I called in and an associate by the name of Colby Hill told me that the paperwork can be incorrect and he’s the one responsible for the recording of that information . However When I asked if they have pictures to support what they consider to be the mileage and the gas level he claims they only record it on paper. that is leaving them space to be untrustworthy and allowing them to record faulty information I myself filled the gas up back to what it was before I dropped off the truck which I have receipts for and they took it upon themselves to fill the gas to full on my dollar which is not right I will be disputing the charges with my bank.
