Diamante in that location is very rude. Call me on the phone yelling at me to bring uhaul trialer now. I'm running late juggling with a child and wife with trailer full of stuffs that I had to unload and he intimidating me to return trailer now worst case I would have extended the trialer so what. Customer service was dismal. I went to the Chula Vista location and asked for a 15' box truck. They didn't have one, so they sent me to the national city location. I was told that there was one there and hat it would be reserved for me. When I arrived to the other location, they also didn't have a 15' truck they only had 10' trucks. My move being time sensitive, I had no choice but to take the smaller truck and make 2 trips instead of 1. I the middle of my move, the battery on the truck died. I called the location for help but all they did was refer me to the road side assistance website, they didn't even bother to get my name or account I submitted my problem on the roadside web page but my status never changed beyond only submitting a ticket so I called the customer service # which had me on hold for over an hour. Luckily, I a neighbor had a heavy duty battery charger to help start the truck, just as the person pin the uhaul customer service line was answering my call. I then completed my move and returned the truck, many hours after the move should have been completed. When I returned the truck, after hours, I disputed the charges on the website because of the lack of professionalism at both locations and the faulty equipment. In short, I was promised a 15' box truck, received a much smaller truck, after going to 2 locations. The truck I got had a low battery and roadside assistance, which I purchased, was no help at all and I had to get the truck started using my own resources. The move took many more hours and many more driving miles than was planned because of the extra trip from not having enough cargo space to fit everything in 1 go and the delay while trying to get someone from uhaul to assist with starting the vehicle. I disputed the charges but no one from customer service reached out to me as uhaul was happy to charge me for the poor service, poor equipment useless and nonexistent road side service and an entire day of inconvenience. These delays cost me extra in labor, mileage, and I was expected in Phoenix Az the next morning for work, but the extra time made this an impossibility, causing me to miss a day of work.ENRICO L.

After ordering the trailer we wanted, we got there and it wasn't in inventory. They gave us a suitable replacement that worked out perfectly. One of the back up lights was very dim. 1 of 3 tires was bald, they didn't have a spare tire so we all agreed we would take the trailer anyways. Expected a discount for the dim light and bald tire and the mix up.... didn't get offered one even though when I left I said a discount would be nice for the problems. Other than that it was a perfect day.THERESA G.
Clean the trailer if it comes back filthy externally. overall staff was awesome. Hook up was easy. I would like to be able reserve online and skip the office in its entirety. Just show a code to the attendant in the lot and hook up and go.Donald H.

I pulled my trailer into lot. There was no pull through. The Liquior store owner(questionable UHaul location) told me he had not room to park. He offered no help in helping be back my van and trailer up. Very poor experience. He did send me to the corporate store down the street. There I as greeted by an AMAZING employee checking in the trailer. She was super helpful, great attitude and pleasure to work with... And she could lift the trailer off the trailer ball by herself. Super rude. Messed up my reservation and harassed me about it. I won't be back to the national city location. The truck was also a total POS with no working ac and needs maintenance badly. Penske it is next time. Special note for management: train your employees better. Horrible check in experience and I don't appreciate one of your employees yelling at my Uber driver either. My original pick up location would not honor my Corporate reservation unless I returned rental at a certain hour eve when my reservation was for a n entire day. I was sent to a different location to pick up truck. This change cause and created other issues down the line creating loss of donations and created over time. Also at the new pick up location the truck was almost empty of fuel. Less than a 1/4 thank This was definitely jot acceptableReyes C.
