I will rent from UHaul again but...a customer should always get a fully fueled truck and not be inconvenienced as UHaul allows after hours truck returns and 1/2 or even 1/4 fueled trucks. Convience all...not convience some but inconvience others. Also, you need to staff correctly...this is your call center and rental facilities. Oh, your technology...if I fill out my information once...don't ask for it again. Don't look efficient...but not act efficient. Thanks...Scott E.

On Thursday 27th I was giving a truck with a broken mirror at 300 Windsor location, I picked up the truck at 6:57PM mind you their closing hours is 7:00PM.. I spent about 5 minute trying to put that mirror in a position where I can see the road before I left their location... just wish I had taken one picture... the guy that gave me the truck was gone so there was no way for me to tell him it's a broken mirror so I decided to take the truck and go pick up my item at Home Depot near by and drove home to Monroe On Friday came to return the truck, Manager took the truck for a drive of course the mirror came off while she driving, never came off when I was driving and I drove 40 miles in the truck.. She came back inside to tell me about her discovery, OH YOU BROKE THE MIRROR, this is negligence.. I'm like in a shock here, pleaded with her that it was already broke the day I picked it up.. back and forth felt super disrespected!!! She even CLAIM she's the one that inspected that truck before I came to rent... Ask her to look at the camera to see how I struggled putting the mirror in a good spot BEFORE I LEFT THEIR LOT, Her answer was I'm not going to all the footage.. IM SURE THERE IS A TIME STAMP ON VIDEO RECORDING SMH... THEN TOLD ME IF I DONT WANT TO PAY FOR IT I WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO USE UHAUL AGAIN!!!!! Oh the guy that check me in comes in at 12 who know their set up, ask her to call the guy she refuse .... WHAT A SET UP!!!! Then I just left their store with any further argument.. took a card and tried calling all day that she never answered.....Fritz D.
Somehow I mistakenly chose the vehicle insurance during the online reservation. This was not my intention. Good thing I chose "counter check in". When I arrived at the location, I was immediately taken care of as there was only one person ahead of me but two employees at the counter. As I was being checked in I was asked if I wanted the $14 insurance, I again said no thank I won't need it. I then asked if I could see the difference in size of the 10' and 15' trucks. The rep told they were right next to each other and I could take a look. I did, came back and decided on the 15' that I had already reserved. Everything was good to go. Truck was clean, location was clean and cool. Fast forward to me returnig the truck. It was an after hours return so I had to use the key drop box, no big deal. The sign said save $20 and return at the website. Awesome, I started the process, after logging in with my phone number, I filled out the required information and submitted the form. It then brought up a screen from a previous rental from 2019 at which I was being told I had owed money for an unpaid toll. I remember this date vividly because it was the day I moved to this area, so I knew I used my personal E-ZPASS when going through that toll. Upon renting that truck I was offered there E-ZPASS or I could use my own. I chose to use my own and I have proof on my statement that the toll was paid. This form gave me an option to dispute the charge and I did. After I submitted that page the next page said the page you are trying to access does not exist. At this point I figured the return was done and if have to deal with the toll situation after. Unfortunately this was not the case and I was charged the $20 fee. I called in to get this adjusted and that was taken care of without a problem. However I saw that I was charged for the insurance after I told the Rep (which happened to be the manager of this location) that I didn't want it. As I spoke with her over the phone to dispute this I was shocked to hear her tell me that I didn't tell her to decline the coverage. As you can imagine this was my word against hers so I felt there wasn't much I could to here. She did take off the hand truck that I didn't use which was a help but this was separate from the insurance. Anyhow next time I will double check that everything is how I expect it to be before I leave because you cannot trust others do the right thing. Hopefully this review helps someone elseMichael B.
I had until 11pm to drop off the vehicle and returned it at 8:10pm. My husband dropped the keys in the drop box before I could take a photo of the interior and odometer. I was charged an overnight fee.Mark M.
Great customer service. The mobile app works well for picking up but I had to go inside because the cab in the app was not at the location.
