Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisI was told the truck had a quarter of a tank and needed to be returned with a quarter of a tank. The car had zero range left no gas in it when I took it and the battery died and I was stranded waiting for roadside service to replace the battery.
Clint KThis was a very frustrating experience from start to finish. My original pickup location was changed because the truck was unavailable, and when I arrived at the alternate location, they did not have the 20 medium boxes I had already ordered, forcing me to make another stop at Home Depot. I also waited about 15 minutes before anyone came out to assist me. The truck was parked tightly between other vehicles on a rainy day, yet I was expected to take condition photos before leaving. Once I moved the truck, I discovered the driver’s visor would not stay up and repeatedly fell into my line of sight while driving. The gas tank was also essentially empty when I received it. The return process was just as concerning. A person who was not a U-Haul employee took the keys and told me she would let U-Haul know the truck had been returned. There were simply too many avoidable issues with this rental. The entire process felt disorganized, inconvenient, and well below what I expected from U-Haul.
