When a customer calls to do a pickup for U-Haul at a location you need to make sure that they give the proper information. We were told that we could pick up in Quincy Illinois at one of their locations. We had to travel a little over an hour out. Yes they gave me 60 extra miles but they did not take in consideration the extra gas. I feel that the U-Haul company still owes and that extra gas. All should be credit . And when calling to set up I'd ask that the ramp to be used for an electric wheelchair. The wheelchair weighs over 500 lb ramp was not wide enough.
Trinity Rentals did everything perfectly as far as I was concerned.
I asked about money back due to not using my furniture pads and not using my mileage.the gentleman told me id have to contact uhaul and deal with them directly because they had nothing to do with uhaul.
I am a local business owner and I stopped in to make a appointment 3 days prior for a 20' truck. I made the reservation and got a confirmation. When I showed up to pick up the truck I was giving a 26' truck which I didn't need. 80.00 worth of gas for 200 miles!! I will never use uhaul again. It's sad that you stop in to make an appointment, get confirmation, and then get something other then what was reserved.

Location was great. Friendly and ready to get us on our way. We were suppose to get our truck in Springfield and we were no at all happy we notified Friday that we would need to drive over an hour away to get our truck
They went ahead and hooked up the car hauler to the truck before I got there. That was a big time saver.

I had to drive 50 minutes to pick this up because you couldn't get one here in town. The computer system was down and I have never received a contract.

Alternate site that was 40 miles away from requested. No other one way trucks were available. Website should be improved so that sites that have the equipment available are only listed.

I didn't like when I was told I have to drive 2 1/2 hours one way to get a truck by the U hall rep. This is not good business relationship at all.
They made certain that thectrailor had stayed dry. Very helpful for the next guy.

The customer service at Trinity Rentals was fantastic.However. I'm not happy with U-haul as a company. When we arrived this morning to get the truck we had reserved we were told that someone at U-haul had said that we contacted them and cancelled our reservation. This was not remotely true! On account of trinity being told by someone at U-Haul that we had cancelled we had to do the whole process over. After taking an hour extra time we find out that the insurance cost had doubled from what we had been quoted! The people at Trinity tried their best to help us, but U-Haul made it a very unpleasant experience. I would recommend Trinity Rentals, but would warn anybody thinking of using U-Haul to be aware of the deceptive practices that the parent company uses.
