On Saturday, 15 May at approximately 8:30 a.m. when I went to drop off my U-Haul truck/keys at this location there was a line of eight customers extending into the parking lot, some of whom had been in line for an hour. There was one person behind the desk who kept leaving for unknown reasons. It was an absurd situation. Customers were understandably upset.john B.

Overall. The experience was fine. I have been there several times in the past 6 months . My only complaint is that there are a lot of customers always there WAITING to be served. Therefore I think you cud use a few more employees to help the very nice people you already have there.ROBERT P.
I was cheated by U-haul on the fuel. I drove the truck for 14 miles. When i got the truck the fuel was at 5/8 tank. This U-Haul claimed the fuel was at 3/4 tank. I had to add 4 gals of fuel to bring it to 3/4 tank and added 2 miles to my mileage even though I returned the truck at 5/8 tank, the level at which I picked it up. I could not use 4 gals of gas to go only 14 miles. Who's lying? See you in Sacramento in front of the California Business Oversight Department. I will never be humiliated like this again.JOSEPH H.
My original location for drop off (1147 Arroyo Ave, San Carlos, CA) was met with resistance and a rude owner who was not willing to take the Uhaul back and instead told us to find street parking and that we were wasting his time. Warning to others- do not try to return at this location! However, Daniel at the Redwood City location took my call asking for help and was happy to have us bring the Uhaul to that location right away. The staff was friendly and has us in and out in a few minutes. Thank you to Daniel and his staff that helped us that day!!SHANNON T.

Check in person was not friendly. She didn't seem very interested in her job. The van was very dirty. I also don't appreciate the excessive focus on getting customers to take out insurance on the vehicles. First of all most people that have private vehicles have insurance that covers a rental and second the price you charge for insurance is exorbitant. I don't think I'll probably tried another company next time I need a rentalReid P.

This location is the worst, I got there at 8:30AM and I left there at 10:00am is just one person doing the job for a many customer this is ridiculous how the manager set up the schedule; and this is not the first time i have been in this location multitimes and always like that and I called day before to make sure evryting will be ready for our company I spoke with Nik and that wasn't help at all.CESAR F.

The rental experience was perfect, but the return was awful. When I returned, the sign said stay in the vehicle and someone will be out to take care of you. I waited for 10 minutes, and after no one came, I went into the office and returned the key. The guy at the desk asked if I wanted an email receipt and I said yes and went. That night the email receipt showed up and I was charged double the rental fee and double the CDW. The receipt showed I returned the rental over 3 hours later than I actually did. I went back to the office the next day, and the woman told me not to worry, an inexperienced employee had processed the rental and the charge would be reversed. She gave me the manager's card. Two days later I noticed that my card had been charged the full amount on the original receipt, so I called the manager and he reversed the charge. What a hassle!Robert D.
Someone should always be present inside to help customers at the register. Too many people were waiting a long time because there was never someone present. Parking for your vehicle is very limited, and so you are told to find street parking on the street in the nearby neighborhood a few blocks away. There seems to be a lack of communication between online and in person bookings. The wait times are too long, they need to improve their customer service starting with hiring more employees.ERIKA A.
