Honestly getting a truck with 1/4 tank of gas is bogus! Especially since gas prices are so high. And these trucks have huge tanks 20+ gallons.Dan M.

I have been renting from this UHaul faithfully for the past four years. I have always had an easy drop off and a clean vehicle. This time I received neither. I had nothing but trouble with the app and the help inside were zero use. Basically left me standing there waiting for something to load. I finally insisted it be processed another way. The vehicle had a service light on which distracted me from checking out the back but when I got home (five minutes away) I called immediately. I took pics and told them the van was filthy The smell was so bad. I asked for another van but they did not have one. Josh said he would take care of me when I returned it. I showed up to return the vehicle and I was told I was all set. They were quite rude. I left and then went back in and said Josh said he would take care of me because I had a flithy van and I did not want you to think it was me. I also had returned it almost three hours early. They just repeated, you are all set you will get a receipt. I did not get one till Tuesday ( I returned the van on Saturday) and there was zero adjustments to my bill or any acknowledgement about my experience. I was NOT looking for an handout, just a little customer service.Elizabeth F.

There was a $5 charge that no=one could explain. The manager had to inquire - came back and said it was for additional insurance. Which I did not need - why buy double insurance? She said it would be credited, but it was not. And I have not received any responses to messages. Its only=$5, but it is also the principle.JON H.

If I am ever in the need for a rental again, I'm definitely willing to drive the 20 extra minutes just so I can utilize Jamie. Given the St Johnsbury pick up location, the customer service rep gave us a "free extra day" on Thursday. Instead, she moved the 2-day reservation forward and changed our drop off date from Sunday to Saturday. It was inconvenient and frustrating....poor customer serviceAustin S.
I found a used mask in the dashboard, notes and other scraps from previous renter on the floor, and paintbrush in back of van. It's like nobody looked at or cleaned it after previous renter. I filled the tank to where I received it but still got charged for 3 gallons. Bad experience.David S.

Start a charitable organization which donates the various cell phone chargers and other electronics cords that get left behind when vehicles are returned. I didn't have a charger in the rental van with me so I stopped and bought one for an outrageous 20 bucks at a gas station, otherwise my work phone would have used up it's last 5 percent battery life just as I answered an important call. The built-in dashboard USB port saved me from spending another eight bucks on a flimsy car charger adapter, which was pretty sweet. So sweet, apparently, that when I returned the vehicle, I didn't even notice the iPhone cord dangling towards the cup holders. Such a conveniently located USB port creates a natural, factory-provided appearance when coupled with the third iPhone cord I've lost this month. But in my defense, how could I not have overlooked it? It was as if the cord was a built-in feature, straight from the good old Detroit production lines at the Ford factory. Well, more like a production line in some unregulated, primitively industrialized , impoverished Asian country, such as Ford now sources multitudes of its vehicle components from. But either way. Every uhaul employee must have their own personal collection of forgotten usb cords , and I envy them for this. It honestly borders on gluttony. With enough phone charging cables to stock a discount electronics accessory kiosk at the mall, uhaul employees have crossed a fine line between prepared and preposterous. As customer after customer effectively increases their uhaul experience by $20; one usb-c or iPhone lightning cord at a time, the employees reap the benefits. They're always secure in knowing they have a replacement cord every 9 days or so (as this is the average lifespan of a cord). You know what it's like to have to run inside to get a new cord for my car?! Or even worse, to lay down in bed, roll to my nightstand, only to realize I had to use that cord in my car all day?! The late night sprints across frozen parking lot, in search of the all-powerful bringer of life, the veritable apple umbilical. So yeah. Anyone find an iPhone cord today in a return vehicle? Around 1:30 pm? Cause I lost mine.... thanksDustin M.
Used the on-line reservation and check in for small trailer. Very smooth and easy. Return was just the same. Very good service all around. Trailer was perfect for my needs.Eric S.
I tried calling the location ahead of time three times. The phone was never answered and instead forwarded to the national line (which also was not answered as I was on hold for a total of 17 minutes). When I arrived at the location, there was only one worker at the counter, and it took him over 13 minutes to help the first customer in line. There should have been another employee there to help customers. The customer behind me left the store after waiting for 5 minutes.TIMOTHY L.

Waiting time in line was 50 minutes. Unreasonable! Invoice was incorrect. Rental rate is wrong and should not be a charge for 3 gal of gas. Manager Jamie was polite and professional. Lost 2 stars due to wrong invoice plus waiting 50 mins to pick up truck.Howard W.
Somehow U-Haul changed the status of my reservation. I clearly had reserved a remote pick up for 8am. When I arrived, I was not able to access a remote pickup and needed to wait for the office to open. The representative was very helpful. I am hoping I was not double billed, as the driver picking up my truck order was also billed. ðŸ˜³Larry A.
