Never told me about charges when returning after hours yet told me it was fine.Adam S.
I selected the self-check-in option so I wouldn't have to deal with anyone and I could quickly go about my day. This did not happen. Instead, the uhaul location required I find my key in a lockbox to which I had no code. This required me to track someone down and have them tell me I had to go inside and speak with someone else to get said lockbox combination. I wasted roughly 30 minutes waiting in line because there was only one attendant behind the counter. When I did reach the front, the lady told me not to use the app and instead took care of it herself. Completely defeating the purpose of what my goal was from the start. I ended up getting my truck about an hour after I originally intended to receive it and did not receive a discount for this. I am going to go out of my way the next time I need to move to NOT use uhaul. This was a terrible customer experience. So, what can you improve? Ensure your employees understand the self-check-in process and have them run through the process, step-by-step to ensure accuracy. I might expect this disaster of an experience from a mom and pop rental shop, but not a nationwide corporation.Joshua M.

The person behind the counter was rude. I refrain here from using a derogatory term here. I think you know what I mean. He was the only rep behind the counter & I was the only customer. The name on the receipt is Edgard Miranda. I don't know if that is the rep's name He needs some counseling or discipline.Dennis M.
Took over an hour after arrival waiting in line to pick up the trailer. Was billed for TWO days even though I had returned the trailer that night on the lot after closing.Anthony C.
I had a reservation and Matt who assisted me at the counter would not take my information just my name. He was argumentative when I asked about extra days on a one way rental, he would not listen that I made the reservation and paid for extra days. NOT ONLY UNTIL he pulled up my reservation did he see that yes I PAID FOR EXTRA DAYS. Customers choose to do business with UHAUL and our normal location on Jackson Keller @ Loop 410 did not have a trailer so that is how I ended up at the San Pedro location. I called the manager but missed speaking with him; I was so upset that the young man who hooked up my trailer went and got the card so I knew who to call and speak with. I will never go to the SAN PEDR LOCATION AGAIN.RITA T.
I waited 45 minutes (even though I checked in on line) to get my paperwork and get a motorcycle trailer. Grossly understaffed and allowed pushy customers to jump the line for returns.James S.
The truck was fairly clean but had a strong odor of smoke in the cab. Also, significant damage was missed by UHaul and caught by me. The location should verify trucks fluid levels, windshield wipers and tire pressure after each turn in before next customer picks up. My truck had low tire pressure, and no windshield washer fluid, and the windshield wipers were in such poor condition that they were ineffective and I need to address all of these items my making personal purchases instead of UHaul caring for the truck and future the customers. I would hope each location checks such items and has simple things like a tire gauge. If certain safety checks, etc are not required and standard at each location, UHaul should address that and make it a requirement. The location was also out of rental furniture pads, they could have opened a pack that was for sale and turned it into rental items for me, but did not.Tate G.

So, don't use Perrin Market. We were to get our truck at 630. They had 6:00, open on their door. Couldn't check in cause for some reason it didn't work. 1 hour and 4 phone calls later we finally got a truck. 15 ft is way too small for 2bdrm apartment. The 20 ft barely fit it all. Their dimensions are way off.Deborah B.
I would first like to say I believe I am due the $50 guarantee for equipment unavailability. Also the original location I scheduled my pickup (Goin Postal on stone oak) would have received a 5 star rating for their efforts in trying to accommodate me. It was like night and day dealing with them and this San Pedro Uhaul moving and storage.Manuel L.
Improve customer service. Try to give the customers a good deal for what they need instead of trying to make a bigger sale. I was sold a one way truck instead of an in town truck. I didn't know that existed, other wise I'll request that service. When at the desk the clerk rushed up to finish my order so I don't have time to ask for the in town service.JUAN C.
