Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisI was leary about renting a UHaul trailer because UHaul (not this location but the overall company) burned my responsible daughter by accusing someone UHaul connected her with (but they would not tell her who so she had no idea) of non-payment or some such. Here in America, we do not believe in guilt-by-association. (My daughter didn't burn you f**kers that way.). UHaul could have told her this a month prior when she made the reservation; but no, they waited until she was at the counter and vulnerable. That left such a bad taste in my mouth that I was determined to not do business with UHaul, even if I had to pay more. In fact, I had a trailer reservation with another company but they called because apparently the previous person using it was keeping it longer, leaving me in a lurch. That is the ONLY reason I went with UHaul; I'm still furious with UHaul for what it did to my daughter. That said, this emergency rental experience at John's Automotive was pretty good with the following exception and suggestion. My phone was incapable of taking the required photo. I am unhappy with the rental procedure; we should be able to do this paperwork in advance, and they can look at us to tell that the photo is correct, so UHaul does not carry any additional risk. Call it your new quick "show & go" procedure. This does not mean that I will seek out UHaul for future rentals of equipment -- they are my last choice and only when desperate. But this particular rental worked out pretty well and the staff at the location were competent and decent people, unlike the company at large.
Richard KGreat service! Knowledgeable staff! Great overall experience!
DAVID GService from this location was excellent.
Gilbert CThe service manager welcomed us to the area and gave us information on attractions in the area that suited our interest. Talked to us like we've been friends for awhile. Typical Texan hospitality that I expected
