The truck I booked wasn't actually available. I had an appointment to pick up a piece of furniture and needed the truck at a specific time. When I showed up to pick up the truck (12:00pm), I was informed that the battery was dead and there was no truck available for me. No one contacted me ahead of time to inform me and no solutions were provided. I had booked a paid babysitter and had a limited amount of time I had to pick up the furniture. I ended up asking for a cargo van instead or really ANY vehicle with 80" to move the furniture. I was provided with a van that worked for me needs but was lucky it was available. I was really annoyed with the experience and frustrated that no one contacted me ahead of time.

Uhaul managed to try and charge me double the cost of the Uhaul ($80)for coming in about an hour late with $10 less in gas. No attempt to work with me on reducing price to accurately reflect my usage. Repeatedly tried to force additional charges onto my card.

I was overcharged and defrauded. I requested to have a Supervisor call me on Friday to remediate this outrage, but no one called, as of today Sat. 10/5/19 at 4:37 pm. I was assured yesterday by a Customer service Rep that a Supervisor would be calling me Friday 10/4/19. EXCESSIVE AND FRUDULENT CHARGES WERE CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD, AND I STILL DON'T HAVE AN INVOICE FROM UHAUL, WHICH IS ILLEGAL. I WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE APPROPRIATE GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY FOR FRAUD. I NEED TO HAVE A SUPERVISOR CALL ME ASAP TO CREDIT BACK THE OVERCHARGE, DEALING WITH UHAUL HAS BEEN A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I WILL BE REVERSING AND DISPUTING THE CHARGES ON MY CREDIT CARD UNLESS A SUPERVISOR CONTACTS ME TO CREDIT BACK THE OVERCHARGES ON MONDAY 10/7/19. I HAVE REQUESTED A COPY OF MY INVOICE 3 TIMES, AS THE FILES I WERE SENT WERE NOT ABLE TO OPEN. I STILL NEED A COPY OF MY INVOICE. Return the truck early only had it for about five hours could not share my location called up customer service told him I situation they would didn’t help me set that I could be charged 20 rectory $30 explained I had surgery and couldn’t stand there anymore left the keys in all the paperwork in called up this morning spoke to the owner of the U-Haul service he said he could not help me would not help me just following the rules so I went there before 9 o’clock in the morning even though I left the car there before five last night he said he has already checked the car in and charge me an extra $20 late fee and did not hear that I was there today before it had to be back with that I left

I reserved a 24/7 rental and my reservation was changed without my knowledge. I showed up on time and had to stand there and wait until 8am. The office blamed uhaul and uhaul blamed the office. It was ridiculous. I will never rent there again and will use a different truck rental than uhaul next time.

Mix up in pick up. Got there....they said go to another place...went there and I wasn’t in their system....went back and they said “it just came through”. Crooks... Despite using the Truck Share self rental app/program, someone atthis location charged me for an extra rental day $20, extra Safemove $30, Cleaning Fee $25, and 5.5 gallons of fuel at $5 a gallon ($30) although I only drive 18 miles, then charged me another $1.09 x 18miles ($20) for a total of over $100 in false fees. Finally they called me threatening to charge me for losing the keys- I put them in the Truckshare return box as directed. Unbelievably BAD EXPERIENCE. I will never use uhaul at this location again. Please give me my money back...

This review is directed to UHaul in general. Don't say you have a piece of equipment at a particular location when it isn't available at that location. This location was fine, but I was initially directed to another location and when I went to pick up the equipment got a "WTF are you talking about?" look. Not cool. Wasted an hour of my time finally getting the right equipment at the right location. Lame.

I reserved a uhaul for express pick up so I could pick it up before the location opened. When I added a dolley to my reservation over phone the uhaul employee did not mention that she changed my reservation to counter service. I hired movers to help me at 7am and since I had to wait I lost 2 hours of my movers time which cost me a lot of money. I called uhaul at 7am asking for help because I could not express pick up and I was told I need to just wait for the location to open.. absolutely ridiculous.. so finally they opened and the location employee told me he arranged for my express pick up and he didn’t understand why uhaul changed it on their end. I had a terrible moving experience because of uhaul

This was a terrible experience with U-Haul. I had scheduled a truck pick up for 10:30am at this location and when I arrived there was nobody in the building to assist me. The door was locked with no sign of anyone working. There were four other parties surrounding the door waiting/hoping for someone to show up. I then called U-Haul and had to tell my story to three different individuals, none of which were able to solve my issue. It seems like the service agents just transferred me to another.
