No long wait times or excessive paperwork to fill out, and they were very accommodating of letting me change my U-haul pickup time to a later pickup time since packing and moving got a bit chaotic. Truck was sprayed with mud on sides, had mud tracked inside cab, and door foam liner fell down each time passenger door was opened. I went a total of 17 miles and put in $6 worth of gas (I have receipt to prove it) yet was charged an additional $11 fuel refill fee. I called to find out why I was charged extra and they said they didn't know, but maybe gas was a tick lower. I made sure gas was at same level, but wasn't paranoid enough to take photos for before and after besides the scrapes on the side prior to the rental. There's other locations and companies that I'd much rather support, likely won't be backBRIAN F.

I extended my rental after a few days. The original charge was $98. I called the toll free number because the rental place was closed. The customer rep said the charge was going to be $151 to extend 7 days. The hold on my card was $250, overdrawing my account. I returned the truck early and was charged another $42 after the placing a total hold of $348. My total bill came to $141. But they had $348 on hold. I was never told anything about the extra hold amount.ROBERT B.

The drivers seat handle was broken, so I couldn't adjust the seat to my comfort, but other than that I was very comfortable driving it. I wasn't happy with there communication, they couldn't explain correct information in regards to miles, drop off prices. It was all miss understanding because then they said I could have saved some money, but they didn't let me know. Just to let you know I was not the first time renting a Uhaul, & this was the first time that it was a (Big) Mess!!!!!!!!!!Lydia T.

I had purchased extra supplies online expecting them to be at the pickup site they did not have any supplies nor did they carry any , also when making the reservation the website automatically had charges built-in for a dolly, furniture dolly, and blankets which I did not need. Did not have the reserved equipment in the store. I reserved an appliance dolly and there was NOT one available. They substituted a regular utility dolly instead. I felt I should have received a significant discount on the rental. This is not what I have come to expect from UHaul!!Russell H.
I was charged $100 on my card and thats was befire i returned truck back in.. So $100 after i leave the lot then when i do return the truck i am told i will be charged $43.09 for my rental.. So i got charged twice.. And they didnt ask for a deposit or i was told by the manager that i would get charged till after return the truck?? Wtf??? Double charged.. Since I was new to U-Hual, I asked about the gas on return and was told to fill it up before returning. When I called to extend the rental for a second day, the representative at the 800 number told me to fill it up. After putting $70 in the tank, I was told at the return location that I only had to put it back to where it was when I rented it--at about half full. In addition, I was told that I had to return the car a full hour earlier than I had rented it because it was already rented for 8:00 on Saturday. Saturday morning was heavily fogged, and caused me to leave at 6:30 for a ten minute drive, but got me to the location after 7:00. It was unsafe to drive faster, but by the time the location manager could get me checked in, I was already over the limit and added another day of rental. Even though she had to charge me for it, she forgave $20 because of the circumstances. On top of all this, that truck was still sitting there an hour later--if it was actually rented ror 8:00, the renter would have been there. I feel I was taken advantage of by U-Haul policy. I would say that manager is the only reason I would rent here, again, because she knew I had been taken advantage of on the gas return and the early return. So, in addition to the rental rates, which were deceptively low at $19.99 a day, and the ridiculous $1 a mile for 69 miles, and $70 for gas, this two-day rental racked up $180--quite a lot when compared to Budget Truck Rentals with better fuel economy. I have no complaints about the employees--they couldn't have been nicer--it's just a shame that the company policies take advantage of situations like these at every turn.SHARON C.
My experience with uhaul in general has gone from bad to worse over the past few years. Your ability to remain the lowest cost truck rental service came at the cost of service and quality. I'm pleased to say that my experience this time was different. They had everything i requested, at the time and location i reserved it, and they were friendly and polite and got me in and out efficiently. I hope this experience marks a change in priority for the company of moving back towards a service oriented model and appreciation for the customers who allow you to remain open for business! This team deserves recognition for their great service, and I hope others can learn from them!Justin D.
The equipment that I requested and made an appointment for was not available and I still was charged for that equipment even though I never received it. Also, the gas tank was at 1/4 when I picked it up, so I returned it filled to 1/4 and I was charged $20+. I'm still waiting for a partial refund.BRYCE A.

The uhaul was disgusting inside and not sanitized at all. Coffee stains everywhere and dirty nail clippers left in them. Especially during a pandemic, the uhaul should have been cleaned or sanitized.Michaela D.
Let them know that, even though it's clearly closed, they can do everything themselves. Prices should be cheaper because customer does everything that a paid receptionist would do.Janine F.
