Jacqui MThe guy who initially helped me was very respectful and helpful. However, this was my first u-haul experience, so there were a lot of unknowns. For example: I moved some stuff at night and did not know there was a control to help with lighting. Then once I learned that; I didn’t realize I had to turn it off when locking up the truck. I didn’t understand why the light was staying on inside the truck. I was so tired from moving and this was very frustrating and if I had known it definitely would have saved a lot of energy and headache. The inside of the truck was also very dusty and some leftover debris. I needed to sweep it away before loading. The vehicle also looked like it had gone through mud at some point. It was crusted on both sides of the vehicle on the outside of the vehicle. I do feel bad saying all this because like I said..the guy who helped me was so nice, but these were the little things that definitely could have made the experience smoother and feel more like I was getting what I paid for.
Chelsey Mattendant was not very helpful in the beginning. Claimed that there were no 15 foot trucks even though we saw one there. Told the Sea couldn’t do anything unless we downloaded the app and made a reservation on the app. Waited 25 minutes once the app was downloaded for a return. Call to get the process started. Had to phone customer service directly. Spoke to someone who was extremely helpful and waited on the line with us until the reservation was completed and there was a 15 foot truck for us after all suddenly. Once the reservation was made the attendant was very helpful but hit wasted 45 minutes of our moving time we had rented from this location before and walked in without a reservation and we’re on our way within 15 minutes. This time it was different.
