When I went into the store to pick up my rental. I was standing in line waiting to be next. And a man came from behind me in a rush not saying excuse me almost pushing me down I asked him to slow down and say excuse me. He stated" he use to be a quarterback, and he could have just pushed me down " This rude person was the manager of the store. On top of that, I reserved my truck. When I got to the store, my reserved truck wasn't there. What a hassl! Just wasn't a good day, at all. There was one young lady on her cell phone and eating pretzels in the process of taking care of me. I handed her my ID and she didn't notice it until she looked up. Wow! Im6so not happy. Plus I was charged after dropping my rental off an extra $20 didn't know I would be charged if I dropped the rental off after hours. I'm so done with uhaulKAREN J.

My check in experience was super long and needlessly delayed by Ray speaking with other customers in front of me about the history of Uhaul. Inform the cust they need to walk around the vehicle to look for damage BEFORE they leave the property. Stressful if you don't. Tires were extremely bad. I was not offered another trailer 5Ã—9, although another was available. Representative Christopher even stated that management was aware that the trailer needed new tires but insisted that they continue to rent it out to customers. I told him I understand that he is doing his job but that is poor customer service but putting customers at risk for known issues... I was also upset because I asked for them to allow me to use the trailer on Monday since I wasn't able to get into the storage building. I had the trailer less than 1 hour. Yet, they werent willing to offer a credit or anything. It was obvious that I didn't have time to move my items.CARLA M.

Well the only thing is I was charged the day I got truck then I had t ok pay more when I got back, then I was not supposed to bring truck back by 4 PM they called me at 8 telling me I was supposed to have truck back by8 am , then I had to cut my trip short because they needed the truck backSTEPHANIE C.

I reserved a 20' truck, appliance dolly, and furniture dolly and paid. I was then told they didn't have any dollies and asked if they could find at least an appliance dolly for me since I already reserved it and it was confirmed. The lady wasn't helpful and I had to call around to find one myself which I was double charged for. I went to pickup the truck and it was a 26' truck. I was on a time crunch moving out of state so I had to hurry and leave but I didn't reserve that so my total was incorrect. The lady was unprofessional and made this experience horrible. I've had three bad experiences with uhaul in this area and won't be doing business with them anymore. It's always a hassle when moving is already stressful.halle T.

The trailer was not inspected before it left, and road side assistance was no help. I spent way more money then I needed, and had to air the tire up on the trailer all the way to my new location. It was a very bad time with u haul.PAYTON P.

The Sherwood location was very helpful. However my original reservation was at Kanis road in Little Rock, Arkansas. That was the worst experience I've ever had with any company in my life. I arrived and was greeted by the only person in the store who was standing outside vaping (which was also the case when I rented from this location in February). I was late for my reservation, and they rented out my truck to someone else. I understand the need to rent out trucks, but it is extremely disappointing that I didn't get a courtesy call asking if I was going to make it there before they rented out the truck to someone else. I had reserved the truck for four days. The first thing Chris (who somehow made it to manager of this store) said is that the website shouldn't have let me reserve a truck that long. Instead of trying to help me find another location, he argued with me and said I was late, and that there were thousands of people in Little Rock trying to move right now. I asked how many days he could rent a truck to me, and he said two days. I asked if him could bring the truck back in two days, and rent a different truck, even if it was a smaller one. He said, â€œI'm not doing that.â€ I asked why, and he said â€œyou were late, and there are thousands of people in Little Rock trying to move right now.â€ I asked him to show me where in the terms and conditions it says that my reservation was cancelled if I was late, he said he didn't know, but that no one ever reads terms and conditions. (It's not there by the way...I called customer service and they told me that is a local store policy). He then called someone else who treated me as poorly as he had. They seemed to take pride in â€œbeing rightâ€, rather than trying to help me. They finally found me a truck in Sherwood...where I had a great experience. However, I had to basically beg them to do that...no one was going to proactively try to help me. The title of the email I received said my opinion matters...please prove that by calling me to make this right. If I don't receive a call, I'll assume that you don't care that the kanis road location treats customers like trash. I'm sure Chris won't even hear about this, and will continue to argue with customers and treat them like they are garbage. It won't matter though because people will always need trucks, and uhaul will be there to provide those trucks. However, I'll never rent from you again, and I'll do my best to warn others about the horrible experience I had with you all so they don't either. One of the employees had a horrible attitude towards me and others. Very rude no matter the questions asked. The truck I drive had numerous trouble lights on. Engine light, gas cap light etc. cab smelled awful too.DALE K.

I was happy with the contract I entered into online but changed it for an extra 24 hours at the store. I didn't read the thing and ended up being charged $50 plus for a rental I thought was going to be less than $15 a day. In the past I have always rented a van. I should have rented a van instead of a trailer but I paid this location to put a hitch on my SUV because I thought renting a trailer several times a year would be less expensive. It turns out I was wrong and not being able to see around the trailer is very stressful. Also, people who made appointments on line shouldn't have to stand in a line at the desk. There should be a way to pick up something like a trailer and pay electronically during the pandemic. I'm over 60 and had hoped everything would be handled outside.Tamathy W.
