Don’t use this place - person in charge wasn’t even there and I had to communicate with him by phone. There was no place to sit while waiting for clearance to take the truck. I checked in twice prior to the pick up day and they had no record of it, so when I got there the computers were so overloaded that it took forever to check in. I had booked several weeks prior and expected to p/u at the Agoura U-Haul center. I was switched to the Simi location two days prior to p/u and the location was not close to me at all. Because I wasn’t at an official U-Haul center, I had to make a special trip to a hardware store just to buy a lock. I spoke to a field supervisor who said he would send me an email where I could send back a copy of the receipt for the lock for reimbursement and never received the email. This was not the pick up experience I expected at all.
noel sThey were really super nice, but I don't speak Spanish, and they didn't have my reservation because it was transferred, so it made it really difficult. The guy tried a translation app, but some things are just lost in translation that way. I finally called uhaul directly and that representative spoke Spanish and everything then went well.
