When I first arrived, noone was in the office despite it still being office hours. I called and waited for the staff Samuel to come down. He asked me to upload my licence and to check my email. I didn't get the email and asked if I could do this instead in person. He completed the rest of the process for me on his phone. He told me I had checked off for a dolly and furniture pads. I told him I had not and he helped uncheck this. He told me there would be $80 charged to me as a deposit, but that I would get this credited back. I signed and then noticed the email above that it was to be sent was not my email! He hadn't bothered checking my name or order info at all and was about to process the wrong order belonging to another customer on my card. This caused my check-in to take a total of 18 minutes of my booking time. When I returned the van, soon after I checked my credit card balance and to my shock 4 charges of $80 were made to my card. Only one of the 4 was credited back, the other 3 were pending charges. I called back and Samuel without letting me speak about it, mentioned how I didn't fill up the gas so I owed a little over $5. Once I told him of the 3 charges to my card, he didn't seem to believe me. I told him to check my account, as the transactions would be there. He the apologized but since he was busy with customers he would have to call me back. He actually never called me back. I had to separately call U Haul customer service and it was a 30 minute call to sort this matter out. I am still pretty upset with the whole ordeal. I have rented from other U-haul locations and they were pretty smooth. This was anything but smooth. I suspect I am not the only customer that has experienced this.Felix Pearl C.

Would not recommend the company to a friend. I made a reservation for 6:15 am for a 15 foot truck to go one way. Went to pick it up that morning only to find out uhaul corporate had changed my reservation to a different location at 10am. At no point in time was I contacted or even asked if this would be ok. I had to be on the road by 11:30 am. If I had taken the truck from the other location at 10 am I would not have had enough time to load everything before I had to leave. It would have also ment my helpers i had arranged to give us a hand would have been standing around costing me money. Luckily the manager at this location wad willing to work with us and let us take a 10 foot truck for the day but it had to be returned the same day. Who ever is incharge of scheduling the reservations for the different locations is incompetent and needs to understand people book a certain time because they are on a time line and that should not be delayed four hours.JAMES T.
