Truck wasn't cleaned when I got it, dolly wasn't attached. Lady inside the facility told me to just drop the keys in the lock box when I bring it back and then they charge me $20 for not 'checking it in'. Poor management of the whole operation.

Customer service was great even though this Covid19 situation!
Truck was not cleaned out after previous renter who had just brought it back. Coffee cup left with paper in cab. Agent said not even wiped down steering wheel and she was told not to go into the vehicles. No sanitiser- nothing. She didn't even want to give me a few wipes for the steering wheel seat and dash! I had called another location Meriden- and was assured all.vehicles were sanitised and sprayed down . Had I known in advance I would have come prepared. This put my daughter and my health at risk. I am beyond upset about this! Your company is putting people at risk.of spreading this deadly virus by not evwn attemptimg to keep customers safe. No notice that vehicles are potentially lethal just to get into. No notices on site- no posted warnings online on your website. No disinfectant available on site. As a designated "essential buisiness" you have a responsibility to at least TRY to protect customers and alert tenters that they "rent at their own risk!" I bet this won't stay posted on your site so I will post on social.media.
I would like to recommend that the truck be cleaned well and spray with a disinfectant a day before it will rent out to another person in the midst of the corona crisis. This will ensure customer safety and satisfaction. I rented the truck and cleaned it a day before I used it to reduce the risk.

Easy peasy! Well lit location, the instructions were simple, thorough and the process was ideal. Highly recommend, appreciate the ability to drop off after hours if necessary.
Vehicle interior was dusty and a little bit dirty. Dash should be cleaned of dust, seats vacuumed and cup holders cleaned. Also, tire pressure warning light was on when we picked up vehicle and indicated that both front tires require air. Tire pressure and safety check should be a standard maintenance practice for U-Haul.

The vehicle was advertised at $19.99/day and I was charged $89.00 for 5 hours. That's false and misleading advertising and I will never use UHaul again. And I'll be sure to tell anyone I know not to either. I am also considering informing the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney Generals office.

The steering wheel had locked & I was unable to start the van after we loaded it. The person who answered the phone was able to provide the trick fir unlocking it & saved the day.

Service light came on after we left and when I called no one knew what it meant. Drove ok so kept truck. But everytime I tried to start truck, even though I checked everything was in order, the truck ignition had no rhyme or reason and took 2 to 4 minutes to get it to start. Foot on brake, wheel position, door closed, safety brake off, all the checks...but then suddenly would start....even though you did same thing for last 2 minutes. Made the move very stressful.
The facility was closed but very convenient.
The self check in and taken of the truck was horrid !!!
1) The truck reserved for the location was later identified that it was available at another location. However, the substituted larger truck was provided at the same daily rate, but the insurance cost was higher. 2) At time of picking up the truck the location representative did not inform me that the review of the truck condition at time of renting it was to be done via the U-Haul website 3) After leaving the location I received a text directing me to the U-Haul website to record existing damage/condition to the truck. When attempting to record existing damage to the truck at time of renting it via the U-Haul website, the website session timed out and a message displayed was to call U-Haul customer service. 4) Attempting to call U-Haul customer service, the wait time was over an hour and directed me to use the online chat 5) When I sent my initial message on the chat, I waited over four hours before giving up to proceed with my move. There was no response on the chat during the four hour wait. I even sent periodic messages over the four hours to make sure that the chat session was active 6) At the time of renting the truck, the location representatives stated just to put the key in the after hours drop-box. Upon lifting the lid to the drop-box I found a message (sticker) to process the truck return using the U-Haul website to record the condition of the truck. Though I took pictures of the truck for my own record prior to wanting to put the keys in the drop-box, the return process required current pictures that were not more than about 10 minutes old. Luckley, I did not put the keys in the drop-box prior to reading the sticker other wise I would not have been about to process the online truck return. 7) I would like to receive a credit for the difference in insurance cost and for the less miles traveled that was caused by delaying me from starting my move.
Very unhappy with the Uhaul App, unable to pick up early as was needed, and had to wait for the location to open, and hour and half later. Unless improvements made to App, would not consider using Uhaul again
I dropped off the truck and the next day got a call saying they couldn't find the truck. Really? A 15' truck? When I called back that night they said they found it. Not very amazing as there were only 4 trucks in the lot. This was VERY disappointing.

I was charged for a gas refill fee of roughly $21. I took pictures of the gas level when I got in the vehicle, and upon return. I filled the vehicle to the appropriate level and should not have incurred this charge. Scamming your customers is not a good way to do business. Sad I have to mention this.
