I dont like the sign in process whereby you MUST use a smartphone to upload your own drivers license photos to a website that they text to you while you are standing at the counter. With a whole office full of equipment, I think there must be a way to make it possible for the staff to add this photo. (For that matter, they could just verify the identity and drivers license numbers before they hand over the equipment. No other rental car company I have dealt with requests a copy a license to uploaded.) What happens if i dont have a smartphone, or if i have left it at home? Other than that, procedural thing, this was the best rental from that location in the last year.

Sydney Hutchinson was rude to us and she also misbooked our reservation for 10.30am instead of 10.30 pm. Its strange that she did that since we also discussed after hours returns for a while. With that being said we were in quite a situation cities away when U-haul called us because they thought we were not returning their pick up truck. We were also charged 237$ instead of the original price for 118$ which i thought was misleading. The staff at U-haul apparently need to learn how to listen better. Extremely dissappointed. Will definitely not be using u-haul again!

The service person was very unpleasant about the fact that I had not uploaded driver's license images (being unable to conveniently do so on my computer), as his equipment for taking pictures of it was not working. He suggested I rent somewhere else next time unless I upload the image myself. And yet: given the huge amount of stuff to enter to make a reservation, I would be booking my next rental on my computer again, not my phone, and still won't be easily able to upload a photo. So I guess I'll have to rent elsewhere, just to avoid that angry service person.

The staff were all excellent, especially Brian. They really took the time to help you find the moving vehicle that suited your needs. All the equipment was nice and new and clean. My only issues were that it is a little difficult to know where the interior light switch is, especially when it’s dark. If that could either be pointed out prior or marked better, would be nice. Also, the whole gas filling situation to 3/4 tank is a bit of an issue. I filled it once per the instructions, checked it and it was low, so back to the drawing board and added more gas checked it by turning on the engine and it was just below the line. Sod it! I went and paid anyways as I know I put double the gas the form called for! Drove off and guess what..... I was way past the 3/4 mark. It takes a while of driving to get a proper register. Other than that, I would recommend and probably will be using them again in the near future.

The computer system in Waterloo is very slow so the wait time was longer than I expected. Staff was very friendly and explained everything beautifully. Great experience

I reserved a truck 3 weeks in advance. Day before received a text from uhaul to confirm pickup so I phone the dealer and they also confirmed it. Flew there the next day and they had no truck. I was sent to two more places and still not able to get truck. Finally at the fourth location I was able to get a truck. So 3 hours of waisting mine and my helpers time and about 120 Kilometres of driving wasting gas I got a lousy 50 credit on my MasterCard. Thanks for the crappy treatment.

The customer service was extremely poor. The girl that was attending to me seemed pissed off at something. She was not interested in what she was doing. Looked like someone forced her to do an undesirable task. She didn't smile for even a second. Was cold and made me afraid of asking questions. For instance, I rented a PU , had never driven one. Didn't know where the lights were or even how to open the gas tank. Had to go home and google this information. Couldn't dare ask having been given such a cold reception. Customer service is very critical especially when offering an essential but competitive service like yours! We are all human and need to be treated courteously and with respect !

First of all I when I book for a truck I wanted a one way from Hamilton to Waterloo. Some how my reservation got all mixed-up. And was told I had to do a two way, I talked to two different people before you changed my reservation. I also feel that when we did get the truck in Hamilton it had only 1/4 tank of gas to go to Waterloo. That would differently would not get us to Waterloo. I feel your trucks should be half or even full for the customers before getting it. We did put gas in the truck in Hamilton and it got us home but we were below the 1/4 tank which I feel was not fair to me, when the truck should of had more gas in it in the first place. I know I had to pay penalty for bringing it back. But the was so unfair to me. One of your employees told me when we ask the question about the penalty he said we can't keep asking the employees to keep taking the trucks and getting them filled with gas. Well my opinion on that comment is when they are not busy all day it wouldn't take that much to take a truck to that is being rented and get it filled up. We pay a good price for your rentals.

Your staff could try being friendly and less sarcastic, the lady would not let me get a word in, very rude! I have rented a lot of trucks and trailers over the years not to mention the years of storage rentals. I will not be returning to this location again.

Check in was slow (to be fair, a guy was in training), but I had already provided a lot of the same information to person on the phone when making the reservation. It would have been very annoying to wait in line, had it been busy, when you just want to pay and get on with the task you need the trailer/vehicle for!
