The only issue was the fact that mileage was determined using kms - not miles. When the physical truck is recorded in miles, this is an important factor when determining mileage before the trip. There was no mention of this on any documentation.Agnes K.

The location is a good one as they have a lot of equipment and options, the staff is also helpful. The rental truck that I got was in a bad shape. Of course it was over used. It would take time to gain speed. But the biggest problem was it's breaking and steering wheel, very wobbly, almost to a point I got scared that I was losing control. No issues with Equipment Paperwork takes a long time I said I would be there by 8:00am for pickup. I was running late (arrived 8:30am) but my 6 hr window started at 8:00am, then the PPW Never left the facility until 9:00am - now I only have 5 hrsJOHNA G.
A walk-around with the customer after equipment drop off. Next day and I still haven't received the amount that my card will actually be charged (we did not use the full amount of estimated kilometres, so it should be less than the estimate).ERINVICTORIA R.
My original pick up location was 144 Charles st. I arrived early and completed the paperwork , was given the keys. I went to the parking lot to get the truck only to find the windshield smashed and the driver side mirror smashed. When I went inside to report this I found out that they didn't have another vehicle for me, so I was sent to the Colby dr. location. So instead of us loading the truck at 12:00pm we didn't start loading until 1:30pm. This was unacceptable. I had people waiting for me at both ends of the move.Steve P.
Your employee was amazing and made drop off the most efficient service we have ever had with UHaul. We couldn't believe how fast and easy it was. After a FULL day of moving, it's nice to have a speedy drop off!!! That specific employee should be commended for his professional and extremely friendly demeanour. I felt the equipment was not in the best condition. Personally noted three issues, wiring at rear of trailer loose and dragging on road, left tail light out, and left side of bumper and step bent/broken resulting in a sharp edge that could catch on a leg. If pulled over they would have been classified as an â€œout of serviceâ€condition.JOSHUAKYLE J.
PLEASE- verify if renting a trailer that you have the electrical required in your car's receiver to be able to tow a trailer for its rear lights. NONE of your screening questions nor did any employee ask if I had electrical when I booked my 4'x 8' trailer. It made a terribly stressful day trying to locate a local source to add the needed electrical in order to safely tow the trailer. ADD this to your screening questions both when trailer is booked and again at time of trailer rental, not after paying and crawling on ground with one associate telling me I have to assemble the receiver for liability reasons. Also, It did not make the experience any better that I had to drive from Waterloo to the Kitchener location and back to the Waterloo location the same morning after having to personally retrieve the correct shank size for the 2 inch receiver. I had pre-booked this reservation but Uhaul made this rental an unnecessarily stressful experience which could have been averted with better client preparation. Had I known I needed electrical for the trailer lights, I would have scheduled this work to be done ahead of trailer pick up.KAREN ELIZABETH G.
