Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisPlace smelled like smoke and I had to wait 10 min for the person to get back. He was nice. Truck was not clean in the cab, and then I got charged a cleaning fee after drop off even though I cleaned out the truck.

Autumn DU-Haul’s website showed this location open on 07/03/2026. It wasn’t. I happened to catch a driver between tows. He was extremely helpful. But UHaul wasn’t helpful. I ordered 24 moving blankets. I got 0. I didn’t order a refrigerator dolly but got one. I didn’t take it. Had to get it removed from the bill. Then the person on the phone told me I had indeed ordered it. The problem was with their website I believe. It kept taking me back to order more equipment, packaging materials , equipment and laborers. I didn’t order it or need anything but blankets that I didn’t receive. I had to go to Menards and buy moving blankets . That cost me over $100. So that added to the cost of moving. I paid $816 rental for the truck and about $75 more for buying blankets over the cost of renting them. A&A did a great job on their part. U-Haul, not so much.
Kris SOpen sign was on, but agent was off the property and door was locked you arrival. Agent did not have moving pads available and referred me to another location in town called Shutters. Shutters staff was pretty rude, and didn't want to go look for the pads I had paid for, but he ultimately did, but only has 6 instead of the 12 that were paid for. The attendant just tossed them in the back of the rental and slammed the door as if my business was an inconvenience. The truck was clean and in good shape.
