Only complaint is I couldn't check out my rental at the counter because their system was down. Also, they didn't have customer parking for me, had to park in a nearby culdesac

Have your trucks maintenance include steering box and front suspension, I drove 1k miles in a truck with 2" of play in the steering wheel. It was quite dangerous at fwy speeds. I'm lucky to have made it to my location. You( u-haul) put me in a very dangerous situation for 22 hours of driving that truck. I don't appreciate paying almost 2k to put my life in danger.
The computers were down it took forever to get my truck
Get ride of your your edit your reservation system: it deleted my reservation and did not have a vehicle 1 hour earlier yet when i got there they had 3 vehicles. Also scrap your phone service: said they would be w me in 5 to 10 minutes and hung up on me three times. In person service is good but all other is terrible
Despite what looked like a very busy morning, the rep who helped us was friendly and patient.
U hall U Haul Representative for this location unfortunately was not Helpful, we all understand COVID situation And keep out distance , but put everything on customs to do the paperwork and when you return the truck and put key on counter and you think you are done, but still asking you to complete return paperwork and you wander what should I do and you been there week ago same truck same location but different Representative but not this much headache and this person telling if you don't do paperwork we have to charge you extra it's cross your mind what the hell your are doing in here and what is your job. And I think some personalities tacking advantage of COVID situation.

The location and staff were as helpful as they possibly could be considering the circumstances. The U-haul rental process, however, was awful. When I arrived I was told that they only do mobile check ins because of covid, which is understandable but I wish the website had explained that instead of giving me the option to check in at the desk. I got started on checking in with my phone but my progress was halted when the website couldn't get my location data, which was working fine, just not for your website. Why you need my location data to check in when my reservation already clearly states the address of the U-haul facility is beyond me, but the fact that I can't progress the check in process without giving you said location data is ludicrous. Luckily the employee behind the desk was able to help me and process my rental but he told me if the mobile check in doesn't work then I wouldn't be able to return the truck after hours, which is extremely inconvenient. Overall, the employees were as helpful as they could have been while working within your broken system but the general experience has soured my view of your company as a whole. Please understand I don't write this review seeking any sort of refund or discount as I wholly intend never to step foot in a U-haul facility ever again, but I implore you to improve your process and terrible website as I wouldn't wish the horror I experienced on my greatest enemy. Employees accusing you ...only to find out...its U-Haul's problem...and screaming at you...â€Give me the keys...Don't lock it!......I NEVER WILL DO BUSINESS HERE AGAIN! Next time I will just go to any rent a car company and get a pick up there ...no drama no harassment..no per mileage Charges....!
I am having a horrible experience with your company, I rented a Haul against my family's recommendation and I will now make sure to share my horrible experience to confirm their thoughts were correct. A customer service representative rescheduled our reservation because the truck we originally booked was no longer available. She told me that I had 24 hours to return the truck and that I did not have to provide a return time to her, apparently she then took the liberty to list a return time without verbalizing it to me so now I should be charged a late fee. Instead of a late fee, however, the greedy location charged us for a second day as well as insurance for that second day! Now I am speaking with a third person to get this resolved, no one is taking off any of these charges and everyone keeps referring to the contract, yes there is a contract but when your employee verbalizes to me that I have 24 hours to return the rental at no extra cost that should be honored, that is a verbal commitment. I returned it the same day anyways but the app was not working and I did as the cashier who helped us pick up the rental told us to do and left the truck there for him to check in once they opened the next day, yet he still charged me for a second day! This is such a waste of my time and creating so much more stress for an already stressful process of moving in the middle of this pandemic. I will never rent from this company again and will make sure to discourage anyone that I know from doing so as well. I wrote this entire review and am still on hold by the way, your customer service line is a joke, the wait is way too long and the employees are quite frankly rude jerks.

The truck had the check engine light on at pick up. The rep didn't care, he was loud and using foul language. He did not have a mask on at all inside or outside of the store. Also at return it claimed that the truck was picked up with more gas than it actually had. Brought it up to the rep and he said that's not my problem they'll just charge you! He should not be working for a company that has a high traffic customer base. Jus not a good experience at all and will look at other companies veggie dealing with Uhaul again!
Mention that when switched truck pickup locations, any purchased items online must also be picked up at the original order location.
Customer service was awesome
The truck had a blinking and dinging noise for the parking brake even when it was disengaged. I reserved two dollies and one appliance dolly- when I showed up on truck pickup day only 1 dolly was in the truck ----- sales rep had to get me two more dollies and check out the trucks parking brake light not going off. It was a rough beginning experience and mobile check in requirements were lengthy. If I knew the store was open I would have just done a regular check in /rental at the counter. The drop off was more organized and way easier / accommodating; The mobile drop off part via the app was somewhat extensive but more fluid than the pickup in the morning.
Mile pricing is high it would help if it stayed at fixed price like .50 cents a mile , but over all it was an experience

Had trouble with the online thing, to me it mad it so much harder. I'm not really a tech guy but it was so hard! Marc Murcia came up to me and helped me. He told me not to worry and he took care of me. It was so smooth and fast I was surprised how fast he made it. He had great customer service, he made sure my truck was disinfected also! Great store great customer service!
Oil and water warning lights were lit on the panel of the 26' truck. We immediately returned it, but cashier said truck was ok because mechanics do not reset panels lights. When we checked under the hood, there was no oil in the engine. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR STAFF TO PHYSICALLY CHECK THE ENGINE.
If your location thinks it is not going to have the required equipment on the day requested it would be helpful to reach out ahead of time instead of accepting the cc payment and then on the day of the reservation saying that you won't have "my" vehicle until the next day. To top it off the vehicle that was given to me had an issue with the gas tank which made a 7 hour drive into a 9 hour drive and very stressful.

After this experience I will no longer ever use uhaul again. The counter men were rude, I ordered a 10 foot truck, then was told the location I selected didn't have that so I would have to go to another location for it. Then was told the other location wasn't going to have it as well so was told the only thing available was a 20 foot truck at a third location. When I went to the third location the truck was not a 20 foot truck but a 26 foot truck. Finally when I told the associate that the dollie was not in the truck he informed me they didn't have one I could take and I would have to go to another location but couldn't tell me where. Finally when I returned the truck you tried to charge me extra for more fuel after I returned it with the same amount it had when I got it. Like I said I will now be taking all my business to Penske
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I find good customer service to be unique in today's world and it's something that I appreciate. It also is what makes this location stand out. As for areas to improve. I feel the layout of the trucks and trailers could be improved for easier pickup/return. Though that is more of a â€œnitpickâ€ than a problem. Good job, thank you.
