Your northern VA coordination center leaves a lot to be desired and I am not sure they understand that you are in the business of making money.....from customers. I'll call customer service with more details but you may want to check on Mr. Edward Hopkins and replay our conversation. He seems to think fulfilling a reservation is going "above and beyond" and exhibits no desire to listen before he interrupts and gets defensive and says he was doing more then required in order to fill a reservation which he claimed was not a "contract" but merely a request for a "trailer share" arrangement. UHaul has a reservation guarantee and will pay $50 if you can't fulfill the agreed reservation to the satisfaction of the customer. That indicates to me you take it very seriously. His initial intent may have been well meaning but making his problem my problem is not helpful nor necessary as he solved it by the time we even connected on the phone. The reservation was no longer the issue, his attitude was. He claims I became hostile.....I would say I became agitated at his unwillingness to let me finish a sentence.

Sales Clerk was very friendly and Bradley was exceptionally accommodating walking back and forth from the back lot to the office to turn my ball around and then again to get me an electrical connection adapter. Upon returning though, I was not greeted well by the attendant in the drop off area who was smoking. I was clearly bothering him and he grudgingly disconnected the trailer while smoking in my face.

Check tire pressure...one of the 4 tires must have a slow leak. No big deal, I filled it once I loaded the trailer and spotted the tire bulge.

I wasn't sure what I needed, so call local office and a gal was very helpful and walked me through the process what I needed, as well as pricing. When we went to pick up, the team was professional and quick. I would use them again and would recommend.

U-haul came through for our family in a bind. The ease with which I was able to reserve and pay for a pickup truck, using my cellphone was essential to meeting our needs on short notice.

OK...the rental transaction happened, fine when picking up the ruck. BUT I was assured by this rental location after receiving an email a few days earlier, that I would receive a discount of of the quoted price fior 1) my original pick up location couldn't be used but would have to use another location, the results of which forced me to iincur driving in heavty traffic a delay of 3 hrs roundtriip. Furthermore 2) because I was asked at this location if i could drop off the truck at another location farther away from my home than what I wished to use---I was told I would only have to pay $350 for the total trip and not the $518 being charged to my credit card. The full amount was charged the day of my pick up and on the drop off today 4 Aug in Chantilly, VA, I was told no additional expenses were incurred on the trip. When I asked for a credit as indicated, I was told the Chantilly office can't do that and I would have to call UHaul $800 number to get my credit. THAT IS NOT how customer service should work. WHY DO I HAVE initiate the action, when assured by MA location it would all work out. This is a real pain in the ass! Please fix this annoyance fast or I will contact my Attorney Generals Office and file an official complaint. I have an emai from the MA locatiion setting this deal.

On the 15 foot truck I rented it would be helpful if there was a lower step to enter the cab for us people with bad knees.

I made my reservation on the web site. It did not make it clear that I was limited to 60 Miles. When I checked in, the rep said the 60 miles and it surprised me. I paid a lot for a one way rental instead of the 19.95 + mileage. It is all very confusing. No one went over the truck with me. I should have checked the mileage and gas meter better.

The option to pick up the truck with my phone did not work. Made it through all the steps until it came to verifying my license. I ended up having to go in the building anyway. Other than that snag, this was an easy process.

I make my reservation online and they changed my whole itinerary very upset they set up my dropp off location far from my original one etc very upset with the whole service overall

Everyone at the Uhaul Chantilly location was very friendly, but the process of making my reservation (over the phone) aggravating. Even after explaining what I needed and speaking to 5 or 6 people, my reservation was not accurate and ready for me when I arrived to pick it up. The Chantilly group was able to get me what I needed, but I wish the entire process had been smoother. Note: I wanted to reserve a Ubox, trailer, and rental truck to tow the Ubox, then return the trailer, rental truck, and Ubox to the store so the Ubox could be shipped. The Ubox and trailer were reserved, but a truck was not, even though the customer service reps I spoke to on the phone assured me everything was ready. As far as I could find, there was no way to make the reservation I needed online.
