There was windshield damage (which would have been fine, it was just a chip) and the X was placed right in my line of sight was quite annoying for such a long drive. The truck stalled twice. Once going down a mountain side with a full load (tow on and geared down) which was a less-than-comfortable situation and once empty with tow off driving 40kph as I slowed further to turn into a gas station.
The uhaul return after hours is convoluted and unnecessary when staff would obviously need to check over the vehicles in the morning anyway. A 20 dollar fee for not doing it is outrageous (especially considering that some people do not have smart phones).
Great service... very efficient
The service on the day of pick up was fine . However, when I call and get one particular gentleman he is very rude and condescending. I have used uhaul services for many years and every time I have to deal with this person I wish there was another option for renting a truck. This person was not present on Saturday . I would not recommend because of this one person, his service is horrible. This review is being submitted by Laurie, the original name the reservation was under, not my son Zach who's name was added because he drove the truck.

When I booked my uhaul online it was booked at the location closest to my house. I was called a few days later to be told that there wasn't actually one available that size at that location. So this ended up adding approximately and extra 20km on to my move. Also booked a dolly and then didnt get it. They did adjust the price due to the dolly but I believe the price should have been adjusted for the location mix up as well. Overall good enough experience.
I am being charged for cleaning when all that was in the back of the truck is moving blankets that I have NO CHOICE BUT TO LEAVE IN THERE from the shipment sent here. My overall experience with U-Haul has been the WORST. I am still dealing with being overcharged in my shipment. I was told for both that and when I returned the truck that I would be contacted and have yet to be. I have NOTHING positive to say about U-Haul. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
The woman who waited on me at pickup seemed bored and unhappy with her job. She chastised me for not entering my drivers license information into the online check in. She was also unable to process my debit card and I had to use a credit card. I am HST exempt through my business and was unable to delete that from my charges. When I dropped off the trailer this am at sharp 07:00, which was posted opening times she was on her cell phone, let me know that they weren't quite open and that I could drop the trailer off myself outback. If she was an employee with my business she would be unemployed. She does not know the definition of customer service. I struggled to get the trailer off the hitch and finally used a lever wheeled mechanism I wasn't familiar with to remove the trailer from my vehicle. The one employee that seemed interested in providing a good level of customer service was a gentleman who had originally hitch up the trailer on pick up.

The windsheild was not clean. The customer representative lady was really rude. She have no ethics how to deal with customers. She need proper customer service training.
The young lady I dealt with on the phone was very helpful and accommodating. I had to change my pickup multiple times, but I was left feeling positive after every conversation. Harpreet was great to deal with at the location. He was very friendly and cheerful. I was surprised that we didn't do a walk around of the vehicle before I took my rental. There was another young man who processed my paperwork when I first picked up the truck. I got the feeling from him that I was an inconvenience to his day. He wasn't friendly and came across as a bit arrogant. Harpreet asked a question when I returned the truck and the young mans response was a bit harsh. As someone with multiple decades of sales/service experience, I would suggest that the young man get some customer service training.
Don't cancel a customer's reservation and not tell them about it. I had my reservation cancelled. No notification. Went into the office and was told they had no reservation on file. When I provided reservation number they indicated that it was cancelled. I indicated that I did not cancel the reservation. They told me they had no trucks available and that they would call me back. No call back. I called back 24 hours later and got through to the call center. They reinstated my reservation stating there were no notes on the file as to why original reservation was cancelled. I picked up the truck the next day and spoke to the manager. She had zero interest in my issue. Very much like a Seinfeld episode. "You know how to *take* the reservation, you just don't know how to *hold* the reservation. And that's really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them."
Overall the experience was good. The truck was clean and worked flawlessly. Ride was quite amazing and we had lots of room for our stuff. Return was effortless. I understand that we are all now conditioned to being extra careful and somewhat neurotic with regards to germs (as if that will help), but I do not want to be finger-wagged and lectured if I make a mistake and do not use my phone to scan my drivers' license ahead of time. Sometimes customer service can make a bad day into a much better one, or alternatively make it much worse.
Your costumer service girl at the counter was very rude. I have rented in the past from this store but never again. You should do yourself a favour and replace her as she is terrible with people. I'll rent from any where but there. I was like I was a little kid.

Let the manager katrina change her attitude she' so rude the way she talk to the customer,for being the manager you know how you communicate to the customer.this is my experience with her.
Katrina was a great help, I urgently needed an extension to my rental and she was able to accommodate me. I would recommend Uhaul to all.
The young man that processed my rental did not appear to enjoy his job. He did not smile once, had very little eye contact, showed no personality, did not ask me if I had any questions, or thank me for my business. He told me he would meet me up front so I picked went out front and didn't see him. I saw a truck to the right with a door open and it was on but I had no idea if it was my truck or someone else's. I went back inside and he was sitting back at his chair. He did not appear to care about customer service or realize that truck rentals may be second nature to him but not to most customers. He really needs to work on customer service skills and communication and a please or thank you would have been nice. Very disappointed.

Everything was great. The only thing that would be better is if there was more on site parking. You can't leave your car there when swapping vehicles as they only have 4 customer spots for such a big hub. Other than that the employees were really helpful.
Customer Service was Sub-par. Both individuals I spoke with at this location, although knowledgeable, were very blunt and at times came across rude, to not only myself but Towards other customers as well. A little friendliness goes a long way.
