We had a really good experience with the location but U-Haul 24-7 any time truck pick up was the worst experience we h e ever had with U-Haul nothing worked at all when I tried to use the app to pick up my rented truck and when I tried to use the website my profile would not show my reservation for the truck I rented. This issue caused me to waste 2 hrs on my moving day due to the issues I was having with picking up my truck. I definitely think some time needs to be put in to making sure the app is working properly so no one else runs in to this issue. This problem has definitely made me not want to use U-Haul in the future.

Negative was the reservation was made online and they didn’t have it when I arrived. Nor did they carry vans which was what my reservation was for. However they did have a truck for my use. If they were booked I would have been out of luck and it would have cost extra.

On was very helpful after I stopped two days before drop off to check on a storage reservation at his location. I Happened to ask why I couldn’t drop a 6x12 with him, and he said that I could. Much more helpful than the website or either of the reservation agents and Capital Blvd agents I spoke with.

Probably not for rental. Invoice says I dropped it off 9 AM the next morning and the video will show I dropped the truck the night before ~6:30 about 45 minutes past the 24 hour rental. I was told that would not be an issue. I would not have rushed to get the truck back during an already stressful time if I was just going to be charged for a full second day.

I cannot even begin to describe the difficulty this placed caused me. Being a few minutes late, my truck had already been reserved to someone else. That’s fine I get it. However when I got told to go to a different location because my reservation was changed, they didn’t have any knowledge of the reservation (this was 30 mins away). Told me to call the dispatch center in N.C. to get another truck. When I called, someone in Richmond VA answered, they put me on hold for 20 mins and then someone in TAMPA answered! Guess Richmond didn’t think it was their problem. I got bounced around people and locations for over an hour. Meanwhile dealing with a family emergency and having only hours to be out of my hours! I got ZERO help from U-Haul and only problems. When someone in COLUMBIA SC finally decided to be helpful, she acknowledged that this sometimes happened because no one felt like problem solving which is a HUGE issue. When I finally got a truck.... guess what.. it was 45 mins the opposite direction of my move. Nothing has been done to compensate me for this. No one wanted to help. I was furious and will not use them again.

The online pick needs to be fixed and made a little more stream line I had to wait almost 25min to get the approval for the lock coed so I could get the keys to the truck.
