From my Google Review: Fire Dakota Please! It's obvious the level of customer service here is so horrendously piss-poor due to Dakota's 'managerial' influence. I rented a truck for 5 hours. Used it for 2. Brought it back at 4:30 (my end-time was 6:30.) A day later I get a phone call from Dakota stipulating that he can't find the truck and that a stolen vehicle report would be filled out. Here's the kicker: all he had to do was consult the employees who misappropriated the close-out of the vehicle and/or walked 20 feet outside to check to see if the truck was in the fleet, BEFORE calling and harassing me with police action. His harassing phone call was so inconsiderate that I stopped everything I was doing at work to drive a mile away to make sure there was no miscommunication in finding the truck. Was I offered an apology for the tone and threat of police action against me? No. I had to fight for a receipt and fight through Dakota's obstinate, unapologetic attitude. No apologies were given. No "I am so sorry that I didn't do the basics of my job first by checking the fleet or speaking to my fellow employees before calling and harassing a good customer." When you come here you will fight not only long Covid lines on the weekend but you'll fight employees and managers who couldn't care less about the basics of common decency, respect, or customer service. Go elsewhere! Borrow a friend's truck! Check out Home Depot! Until Dakota's feckless attitude is dealt with, this place isn't worth the aggravation. (I would've submitted this to Uhaul Customer Care over the phone but not when wait-times are 20-30 minutes.)

The computer system wasn’t working properly so there was a line out the door delaying pick up. No payment by credit card was possible. People were having to go away and come back with cash. A total disaster!

The truck was pretty old, engine made a terrible noise while accelerating. Window felt like it was going to fall down of the Window, pretty damaged on the outside but overall clean and well kept. Maybe time to retire the unit. Staff was friendly, customer service rep that assisted after relocating my reservation was incredible.

Uhaul has changed the pickup location the day before to guarantee the items that i want. When arrived there at first they said they don't have a truck and after a while they were to resolve that but they didn't have the dolly that i wanted. So they had to send me to another store.

It took us 3 hours to get a transport hooked up and when it was hooked up it was done incorrectly. One of the tire straps never stayed on. The chains weren't hook up correctly according to the drop off Uhaul location. We were charged $25 for a dolly we never received and $10 for the use of a dolly we never received or used. It seemed like no one had a clue what they were doing at this location

Truck we were being forced to take had the check engine on and was misfiring after 10 minutes of debating we were given another truck shouldn't have been no debating. we accidently left a $35 step stool in the truck we called the location several times they never answered we left a few messages with the call center and we never received a call back from them and we moved an hour away from where we rented truck. not acceptable at all our experience was by far not great at all we won't be going back to that location and we have other family members that were going to use them too not anymore

I was sent the online registration option at 6pm. My pick up was at 4pm. I realllllly would have preferred registering my ID ect. online vs having to go in the store with other customers. Really anxiety inducing. Very frustrating receiving what I needed way after the fact. The attendant did the best he could texting me a link to send my ID from my car but the link did not work. Great idea for no contact registering BUT just make sure it's actually working.

The interior of the vehicle was not clean. The entire dash board looked like it was not wiped clean. This is of extra importance during this COVID-19 Pandemic. I also had a very hard time getting the truck. I reserved pick up at another location on Ferguson. It took at LEAST 30 mins on the phone with Uhaul to get this sorted out. It was supposed to be “half the time check in”. This was a disaster! My records showed the pick up at 8047 Ferguson Rd. This took ENTIRELY too much time.

Fella that helped me was amazing. Company in general not so much. Dirty truck, .1 mile over what that paper said and was charged another .18 cents at drop off. Something that seemed cheap with a 20 buck rental to literally go in the same county cost over 100 bucks in the end. Like wtf dallas to irving. Ridiculous

Address issues with the customer dealing with a problem before moving on to the next new customer! I had 3 issues with picking up a rental and had to get back in line each time and spent 30 more minutes before finally getting taken care of by the store manager. Who did a nice job...can’t say the same for everyone else!

My truck smelled like bleach when I got in. And During this covid -19 pandemic,that is a great smell, They are Ready too clean there trucks as soon as you pull up, I got my truck and was Comfortable, due too me knowing that the inside of the trucks are being cleaned with bleach.
