Lee BThis location is great. The staff are very friendly and professional. We have several storage units here and a couple of rv spots. We rent Uhaul trucks for big events throughout the year. This time we were given a new 26ft truck. I was happy that it had low miles. Everything worked great and the truck was perfect. However, there is one dangerous safety issue that needs to be fixed. This issue is going to result in injury or death and Uhaul is going to be liable one day: The ramp on the newer model 26ft has been shortened. It is at least three or four ft shorter. This causes the ramp to have a steeper angle. This makes loading a nightmare. Loading furniture on an regular ramp or even my trailer with ramp is no problem at all, but on this steep ramp, the furniture rolls back at you and you have to get running start to get up the steepness. I had to get help several times to get furniture all the way up the ramp. This also added another hour and a half to loading due to the repeated attempts to get items up the steep ramp. On several occasions I almost lost balance because the furniture rolled back so quickly. Someone is going to get hurt with this new steep design. Please fix this problem before that happens. Next time I will request an older unit.
