Returning the truck after hours was very difficult. I followed the instruction provided by the office and clicked uhaul.com/share but it said I didn't have any active order. When I called the customer service I was placed on hold for 20-30 minutes. You guys should fix this.

The reason I answer No about the equipment, The brakes on the truck should be looked at, When I applied the brakes the front end of the truck had a lot of vibration to the point the steering wheel would shake, also the roof of the truck storage area there had to be something loose, I had to pull over on the highway because there was something vibrating so loud and we thought something inside the back of the truck had came loose. When I return the truck the person was busy and I was going to call and tell him about the problems sorry to say I got busy and forgot until I received this message. The truck was clean would I rent again from U-Haul I would, this is the first time that I have had any problems with any equipment that I have rented over the past 8-10 years. I really recommend you check out the breaks on the truck I rented they were pretty bad.

Very disappointed in the fact that when I made my reservation the website said that the location in Plain City would have the truck I needed. When I called the Plain City location the day before my scheduled pickup they said they didn’t even have me listed as getting a truck there but instead it was at a Dublin location. I specifically went with Uhaul so that I wouldn’t have to drive to get the truck. The uhaul location was a half a mile down from my home and I was only moving not even a half a mile down the road so the miles would’ve been minimal but there was no truck for me in Plain city therefore I have to pay for mileage to and from the Dublin location. As for the truck it ahouldnt even be available!!!! Neither the driver side door or passenger door closes right. I’m driving on the freeway and my daughter tells me her door isn’t shit right so I pull over to have her slam the door closed. I also had to slam the driver door closed to make sure it was securely latched. There were a couple of times it took my several times to get it shut properly. The Dublin location was fine and the men working did their job but as far as the truck I’m disappointed and as far as the mileage I wasn’t happy about having to pay for mileage and gas when I should’ve been told there wasn’t any truck available in Plain City because I would’ve done something else for a moving truck.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. the condition of the truck however was not good. For example, the passenger side door could not be opened from outside. the gear indicator did not work-that is it did not show what gear one was in.

Remove Brutus Moving Services from Moving Help list. They were a no show. Gentlemen called and texted two days prior to move truck rental/move date and then morning off stated "we will be 30 minutes late". Brutus Moving Services never showed and ignored my texts and calls. If you are considering moving help in the Columbus area, do not contact Brutus Moving Services!

The truck took 5 gallons for driving only 25 miles, the truck needs some kind on maintenance.

During the day of the return of our trailer, a lady from Uhaul called us to confirm our return to the Omaha location. We clearly explained there must be a mix up because we now live in Columbus Ohio and our reservation was for just that. The lady on the phone (we don't remember her name) then went on to say "well, we need you to return it to Omaha because a family is waiting on it". This was extremely comical and NOT OUR FREAKING PROBLEM. After we explained the situation multiple times at a level UHAUL employees understand, she then said that we could just return it to the closest UHAUL location (not dealers) and that it would get figured out that way. When going to return the trailer, the gentleman scanned it in on his hand held device and said he needed nothing further from us "thanks and have a great day". About an hour later, he left my fiancé a nasty voicemail stating "we need to call him immediately and that we owe way more that what we paid for and hes going to charge our card for the difference". First of all, what kind of customer service is that? Luckily I saved the voicemail and will share with everyone I know after I dispute the charge that was 4 times the price of the contract I signed. Seems like a pattern UHAUL uses of quoting one price and charging another. After waiting on hold for over an hour trying to call the guy back, we then get transferred for 30 minutes as both offices seem to think we need to speak with the other office. Luckily, we landed on a peach named scott that works at the Omaha office (712-366-9466). Scott was ever so inviting to work with and told my fiancé that "You don't think it was weird we only charged you $64 dollars to go one way" "Ma'am you realize we have cameras in our store and we will be able to tell if you're lying about this" and my favorite one... "Ma'am please understand we have customers lie to us all the time so your situation is no different". All the while Scott can not help us with the unauthorized overcharge that the Columbus Ohio location charged us AND they can't get ahold of anyone there either because your service is GARBAGE. Pretty sad when your own employees have to wait on hold at other locations. We will never ever use uhaul again after this experience. I will tell everyone this story, and make it a point to share it on every social media site I'm a member of. Terrible service, terrible employees, terrible experience.

THIS UHAUL IS A SCAM!! When we picked up the truck March 14th there was damage on the rear bumper. We were in a huge rush so I didn’t check to make sure it was already in their records. I know I should have. I just assumed that a mark that large would already have been noticed and recorded by uhaul, if they were doing their jobs correctly. We had the truck for less than 2 hours and returned it. I received an accurate receipt in my email that night. 2 days later, March 16th, I get a call from the GM saying that there was damage. At first I didn’t know what they were talking about. Then I remembered the dent. I said “oh yea that was there when we got there. I didn’t mark it because i was in a rush”. The GM said that he would call me back with an estimate. An hour passes and I hadn't received a call back so I called them. I ask if they can look at their cameras to verify that the damage was there when we picked up the truck. The GM said they can’t because the cameras don’t zoom. I thought to myself, okay? That’s your fault for having shitty cameras! Anyway, he says the damages will be $408 . I say I have to talk to my husband. Later that same day the GM called back and spoke to my husband telling him that I claimed fault. Which I did not. I said it was there when we picked it up. The GM told my husband to come in the following Monday to talk to him about it. My husband went in and the GM was nowhere to be found. The worker who was there showed my husband the damages on the truck and sure enough it was the same dent that was there when we arrived to pick up the truck. The worker said the GM would call my husband. He never did. 11 days later, March 27th, I received a second receipt in my emails. This receipt claimed that we rented the truck on March 14th, returned it on March 18th, yet the damages happened on March 27th. Makes no sense , right? This new receipt also said that the amount we owed for the damages was $234.68. Which differs from the original “$408” that the GM had quoted me on March 16th over the phone. At this point I just tried to forget about the whole situation because obviously Uhaul is sketchy and trying to get money out of us for no reason. On May 4th I received an email from Repwest, which is the company that handles uhaul’s claims. This email from repwest stated that we owed $534.38 for the damages. Which again differs from the “$408” AND from the “$234.68” quotes that I had previously received. Fishy , right? I responded telling them to email my husband. They never did. On May 14th I called the repwest worker and left her a voicemail. I never received a call back. On May 21st I emailed the repwest worker telling her that my husband never received the email and that I had left a voicemail for her but never received a call back. I gave her my phone number and asked her to call me. Later that day she responded to my email telling me that she did send the email to my husband on May 6th (he never received an email). And that “nothing
