Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisPlease ensure representatives know how pick up and returns work. The lady I spoke with had no idea how to do any of it and kept telling me go to Uhaul.com/share. That website did now explain how to return the truck either. She told me “everyone figures it out I don’t know how they do it” and basically shooed me away to work the gas station counters. I received a key from her with no explanation of where the truck is, how to operate it, or which one it even was. I had to try the key in every 15ft truck on the lot to find it. It was a very stressful experience. I’ve never used U-Haul before and honestly this experience makes me not want to again.
Allison VWhile the equipment was good, the customer service was horrible. I was treated like a 2nd class citizen. She didn't tell me the differences between the two insurance rates. She insinuated that my girlfriend (who was only serving as a secondary contact)had some unpaid charges from a prior rental that had not been satisfied and wouldn't help when I wanted to change secondary contact persons. She insisted that I had to call customer service and have that cleared up although she was not renting the vehicle. When I returned the vehicle, I rwas instructed to just leave the key without anyone inspecting the vehicle . I finally found the website where I could checkout, however I dropped my key in the key deposit box. The cashier did open the box so I could retrieve the key and complete the checkin procedure
douglas mI paid for a larger truck to move a dryer because I didn’t want to risk hurting my back or my friend’s shoulder. We got across town and the ramp was stuck and could not come out. Told the lady when returned the truck and she apologized in a tone that made it clear she thought I was not being honest. I got the dryer moved but we still had to figure out how to lift something she shouldn’t be lifting and we spent more money for a feature that was not available just to have the representative dismiss my inconvenience and waited money.
