I was bait and switched for the $15 safe move coverage. When booking the rental I denied it. When I showed up I noticed it was added. I asked for it to be removed and was told “that’s handled by U-Haul, we’re just contracted…I’ll send an email. It looks like that email was never sent because after dropping it off, I see I was charged the $15. This represents a 21% up charge I didn’t ask for. I plan to call U-Haul for assistance.

TIFFANY LThe place had one parking spot open and signs everywhere that said no parking, which made me fearful my car would be towed. The office was closed, as it was a Sunday, so I couldn’t talk to anyone. Then the cab of the truck was gross, with sticky stuff in the cup holders and on one of the seats. The location also didn’t include the moving blankets I ordered, which made my moving day so much harder. And the app wouldn’t accept my pictures. So, all in all, not a good experience.
Elizabeth NThis location was “closed” on Saturday without notifying ANY customer. They were impossible to get ahold of when we arrived at our reservation time of 10:30 to retrieve the uhaul and the keys and the keys were not there or in any lock box on the property, we had to call 12 different times for them to finally send someone over with the keys. The person who brought the keys was kind but took over an hour after telling us 20 minutes. In total, we arrived at 10:25 on the DAY OF our move and left at 12:30 pm. While we were waiting, multiple people had the SAME issues. Some businesses can work remote. This one CANNOT. And if you are going to, make sure your job is done the day prior so you don’t ruin someone’s entire day. We will never rent from uhaul again.
