I could not do self check in. I tried 5-6 times but kept getting an error message. It was frustrating and I did not want to pay to have truck checked in my Johnson's staff the next day.James P.
This was the worst experience I have ever had with uhaul. I'm glad I got there at opening because I didn't get out of there for an hour and I was on a schedule. The attendant got to work 10 minutes late and remarked with surprise that there was a line of people waiting. I was third in line and (I'm not joking) it took him 30 minutes to check in the two people in front of me. He didn't know how to process my coupon and made no attempt to figure it out so I ended up not using it. He did everything incredibly slowly. Talking, typing, answering the phone. Tried to make irrelevant conversation with me despite the fact that there were a lot of people in line behind me. Then he took a huge bite of dip, grinning that "It's gonna be a long day, might as well get ready!" Then he laughed and said "Yeah I thought there wouldn't be anyone here at 8 because people never show up early." When I'm fact I had scheduled to pick up at 8 so I wasn't "early." Couldn't even swipe my card right. Then after taking 15 minutes to check me in he gave me the wrong key and made no attempt to fix the problem when I brought this to his attention other than to say "did you try all the other trucks?" Exasperated, I went around the parking lot and tries all the trucks until I found the one that worked with the key. Ugh.ANNA H.

This was by far the easiest u-haul rental I have ever done! One phone call the day before reserved my truck and appliance dolly. Both the truck and the appliance dolly were ready when I arrived to pick them up. Payment went without a hitch, and I returned everything using the key drop. So seamless! The folks were friendly enough but it was very busy and only one guy working at the time we went to pick up our pre-ordered truck. We didn't get access to the truck for almost 30 minutes, which cut into our rental time. Also, we had preordered blankets but they weren't in the truck when we took possession.BARBARA P.
I ordered a van and when I went to pick up the van at Johnson's i was told it was stolen and had to upgrade to a larger uhaul-box truck. Was the van really stolen? I don't believe it was. On top of which, the two clerks must not have been aware of the city mandate of wearing mask during this deadly pandemic, they did not- putting me at risk of COVID and violating city of Fayetteville mandate. So No, I would not recommend this location to anyone.IRMA S.

No one there wears a mask. On the next day I was charged additionally $3.39 (this additional amount was never shown on my receipt) even after I gave them a gas station receipt showing that I put 1 gallon of gas for the total of 11 miles I drove their van (it was showing full even before I put more gas in the tank, just to be honest on my side of the contract).SVETOSLAV S.
