Had the truck for only and hour or so and when I was unloading the truck with no other lights on or radio or even doors open the battery died. Which cost me more money. Wasn't please with the fact that I had a hard time pulling out of the parking spot in the very beginning as well
The truck was very new, but somehow it was already dirty. Which I was not surprised about when the employees approached me as I was using the app to start my rental, they were also not very clean and none were wearing a mask. Also, the app too more than 30 minutes to start my rental, then expected us to have the truck back at our planned time. Need to better control your processes and hire better people

Just the way it was you don't have to improve on it and it met my standards and it made my move a lot easier the people were nice and friendly it was just a great experience
Rep quoted wrong information about the rental. Ended up overpaying. Did not tell us the one way was not refundable if we did not use the whole 4 days. Told us we would be reimbursed for unused days. It was a rip-off. We want to dispute the charges. When we called customer service, Sharon was very rude and did not care what we had to say. Will never use your company again. Rep was not knowledgeable at all.
Was closed when I arrived about 10 min ahead of the advertised hours, however left keys in the drop box with no issues. This isn't a reflection of the drop off location itself, but I would recommend making it VERY clear that if you are going to use the app to do your drop off, that you state up front to NOT drop your keys in the drop box before using the app to complete your rental. I did that and then could not retrieve them to take the required pictures of the gas gauge/mileage.
They were very helpful over the phone as well as when I picked up the trailer.
Seems there was an issue with the programming and the truck requested was a 15 not 17 Due to having to wait 2 hours and 15 min AFTER SCHEDULED PICKUP TIME i had requested a discount instead i paid for the 17 foot trsiler instead of the 15 and no discount as i was told it would happen , Not planning on using this location again
explain how long the mobile process takes to use, it took us over half an hour to get our rental with the mobile app.
Make sure dispatch actually dispatches the reservation or don't let them make the reservation. I made a reservation a week ago and somehow dispatch didn't actually send it through to me to get my code... Waited An hour for the towing guy to figure out why didn't have a lock code but had a reservation number. The key was in the box but I couldn't get because I didn't have a four digit pin. Nothing on him, seems like an U-Haul IT problem. How can I sit in the parking make a reservation for the next 5 min and then expect to have that reservation (this not what I did, but someone could) I would make it so they need 24 hours notice so they towing team can drop the keys in the box. A complete mess. But the towing guy was great and friendly.

When making a reservation, call the place and speak to someone specifically about what you need before you use the UHaul app. The area was an auto repair shop with U-Haul as an afterthought.
The person I made the reservation with over the phone was very helpful. However, we had to wait at least 45 minutes when we arrived to pick up the unit because the employee who handles pick up was not there. We had to wait for another employee from a different out of town location to arrive. To their credit, we did receive a phone call explaining the situation, but when you're on a schedule and expecting to be on the road with the rental, it was disappointing and frustrating to have to wait. Perhaps having more than one employee trained to handle rental pick up would be helpful.
Adding a jack stand to this trailer would improve the experience for the next customer. With the trailer empty, a strong man can lift the tongue by himself. But with the trailer loaded 60% front / 40% back, a jack stand is needed to unhook the trailer. I made due with my pickup's spare-tire change kit / bottle jack.
There was not an inside and all business was conducted outside. The person seemed to be having a problem with equipment also. After I explained the issue with the blankets, he accepted my explanation after he read the hand written note about them on my contract. He did not open up the back and check if it was clean or count the blankets

My husband was concerned about driving this truck as it rained on the highway. He felt the tires didn't have much tread and he was extremely concerned.
There were 8 rentals for 9 am and only one agent and computer. It was 10:50 am before we checked out. Almost 2 hours past our pick up time. Your guaranteed reservation promise is right equipment, right location, right on time or $50...This reservation was not right on time.
Inadequately staffed: there was only one person serving customers and he seemed like he couldn't care less about our wait time, which was more than an hour in a dirty garage. He had obviously been smoking in his tiny office where he was not wearing a face mask: two violations of the state law. He gave away the truck that I was supposed to just be able to pick up the keys to and go. Thankfully, he had an identical truck available. But as I drove along there was a warning message about the need to service the tire pressure monitoring system that popped up on the dashboard every time I hit a bump. I tried calling the uhauk 800 number to report the message but was unsuccessful. Thankfully, there were no actual mechanical issues.
