Didn't have a code to get back in the gate to park the U-Haul. Luckily a person with a storage unit came through and we went in behind him. Maybe post an after office hours number or email codes with reservation details. Make the code available under orders on U-Haul app or somewhere you could reference it if needed.

THE TRUCK WAS DIRTY- MATS WERE DIRTY WITH MUD AND INSIDE THE BACK WAS MUD ALSO. THE TRUCK WAS NOT CLEAN. LOOK LIKE NO ONE CLEANED THE TRUCK UP FROM THE LAST USAGE. THE TRUCK ALSO HAD MAINTENANCE ISSUES. IT WAS DRIVE-ABLE BUT NEEDED MAINTENANCE FOR SURE. THE BILLING WAS ALSO NOT CORRECT - I WAS OVERCHARGED. I UNDERSTAND SOME OF THESE ISSUES ARE UHAUL ISSUES NOT THE LIGHT HOUSE MINI STORAGE.

All the staff was friendly and get me a uhaul truck very quickly. They had me out the door in 15 minutes. Lighthouse is a great place to so business. They are honest nice people. I will go there everytime I need a Uhaul. Sincerely, Charles Bass

I rated the business highly as they had nothing to do with my issues. Uhaul changed my rental multiple times-both pickup and drop off locations without discussing in advance. Drop off location required a code I was never given, thank heavens the business answered their phone after hours. Overall it was a huge headache and I will use another service next time. Again, this is a reflection of uhaul and not the rental locations themselves.

I input my reservation online; I called and spoke with a representative and he re-input the information again. When I got to Lighthouse Mini Storage, the young representative had to re-input the information again. Each time I requested Princeton Storage on S. Wickham Avenue, Princeton WV, to be the drop off location----Said the same information 3 times to the young representative at the mini storage that I wanted and preferred the Princeton WV Storage site to drop off the cargo trailer. Assume the young girl selected the site on South Walker Street in Princeton---which was NOT what I requested 8 times. What is the point of doing any request online if it is not available for representatives of Uhaul to access it at pick up time. This was the worst experience I've had trying to get the correct cargo trailer as well as the desired drop off place. When I did drop it off I went to the assigned place on S. Walker street and there was no place to park it. It was a used car lot. I then took it down two streets and parked it at the S. Wickham site which has plenty of room. The next morning (Monday), I called the S. Walker site and he advised my that I needed to contact UHaul and request a site change so I would not be charged wrong location fee. I made several calls to U-Haul which did not provide any assistance although they indicated they changed the drop off site to S. Wickham and if fact, the representative did not make the change and lied about it. I also do not understand why your company doubled the rental price just because it was the last week end of the month and supply/demand rules apply. Upon arrival at the Lighthouse Mini Storage, I counted 10 cargo trailers were available. That is outrageous to double the rental fee and appears to be a form of price gouging when we can't afford that due to Covid 19 issues. I request a partial refund as I normally rent the cargo trailer for $49.00 and this time paid $97.00.

Checking in definitely saved time. Truck was dirty with grass and debris in the back but not terrible. Gas mileage was great! When we stopped to fill up before returning, the truck wouldn't start. We jumped it and it started right up. Return process was simple and easy. Overall satisfied with the transaction.

No personel were there, it was a Sunday. The App for returning would not accept my location on my phone so I just dropped the key off and made sure the Truck was clean and secure. THAT part of the process worked well. Overall it was a good experience.

We received a phone call the day before stating everything was ready for pickup, but upon arriving, the truck had a padlock on the back, and the furniture dolly and pads were not yet put in the truck adding to the wait time - even though we had been encouraged to do pickup through the app... given the circumstances, obviously that was not possible. Once waiting and getting those things taken care of and the lock removed, it was fine.

I would like to suggest that you all put jacks on all the trailer and box trailers. This would make it much easier for someone like myself with disabilities to hook up and unhook them without having to lift and risk severe injuries.

I was simply told to pay $100 deposit and I did so when I returned it the next day I was given a receipt and told to have a nice day I know all this sounds so good correct this is the bad part when I left with my receipt 10 minutes later I was called asking me to come back to the office to pay another $36 the young lady that called me could not explain to me why I owe the $36 just told me to come back and pay it I refused because I didn't understand why I had to however I don't think that it was fair to me that I was given one Price to pay and given a receipt the next day telling me to have a nice day only to call me 10 minutes later demanding extra money I think that's really bad business the other lady that called me Michele came off a little rude at first but then that irritated and frustrated myself so I came off rude and then her attitude changed however everything else was wonderful but I think they need to get someone else off in there that knows what they're doing so that this will never happen again
